How long had it been? A couple days? A week? Declyn had lost track of time since the day him and Cam had more or less ended it. The day that he took comfort from someone else's words and arms. He tried forgetting about it all, though he had enjoyed Dom's company especially after feeling so completely alone. He hadn't gone to Odion for a reason and he had yet to tell Odion about the whole dilemma because he already knew how horribly it would turn out. Over all, he'd kept the situation to himself, though he wouldn't doubt it if all of Hammel already knew.
Since that day, things had changed for Dec. The few months that him and Cam had been together, the hallucinations from his power had gone away. The last time he could recall feeling as though he was dreaming was the day that he told Cameron how he felt about him without realizing it. Recently, he started feeling as though Inception really was happening. He couldn't figure out what was a dream and what wasn't. Having lost his lighter after the rampage he went on that day, he was lost in his own world. Nothing seemed real and it all seemed like one giant dream inside of a dream. It was one of the things Declyn feared the most and he didn't even know how to fix it.
He'd taken to wandering around Hammel campus alone. His phone had been turned off for the past day or so, but he didn't care because it wasn't as though he really had anyone to talk to. It was sad really, he had few friends and now it seemed like fewer since he was no longer with Cameron. Ending up in the courtyard, he eventually stopped his wandering and sat under a tree, staring straight forward. There were a few people walking through the courtyard, but they all seemed to ignore him. Again he was sure that this was a dream.
