[This is an AU where Riley owns a bakery and it's open to everyone. He gives out free pastries and breads to homeless people so if you wanna play a homeless person or something, feel free to come in! I was bored and needed an outlet. And also to justify my having so many characters xD]
It had been almost thirty years since Riley first opened his bakery. The smells were synonymous to the feel of the small sleepy town of Pilot Ridge. He had built the reputation simply by mouth, and smell, and he hoped to one day open up chains outside of his hometown.
He loved his shop because he met the most interesting people every single day. And some of those people have become regulars. Some, who had started out as homeless beggars now visited him in sleek suits and wide smiles.
He found love in this very bakery and lost him almost as quickly but he couldn't have asked for any more. The shop was his saviour and even to some other people.
It was a good place for first dates since he had set up little booths in the corner when he managed to do some expansion work, and it was also a family place where you could celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and even family reunions.
Although he now served meals, in addition to his breads and pastries, he never put his bakery sign down.
Today was a special day. Of course, to the soft-spoken and shy baker, everyday was a special day. But today was special because he had added new things to the menu and he was hoping for more customers. Hopefully he could make someone's day by filling their stomachs!
