I swear he's 21! *Xavier and Christian*

[Alessandro Ricci]

Alessandro had heard quite a few comments about the Meta school, though he had never had a reason to go. Jace talked to him about it, telling him about the layout of the school, which made him curious. He somehow ended up in the court, careful not to go inside.

The tall man walked among the grass and flowers. There were a couple of students hanging around, enjoying the spring air. He walked slowly, his hands pushed into his pocket. Many of the teenagers shot him curious looks, but decided to ignore him.

He reached up to one of the trees and splayed his fingers out to take in one of the maple leaves. "It's pretty here." It almost made him wistful to become a Meta. He couldn't, of course, but one could wish. He'd probably have strength if he did have a power. "What cha doin?" one of them called. Aless turned to answer the guy, but he was talking to a girl across the courtyard.

In of the secluded areas, he saw a tall, blonde boy who looked about eighteen, but he was never a good guess for age.

Xavier was usually always outside in warm weather and today was no different. He wasn't around a lot of people and he liked it that way. No people to bug him and no people to be curious on why he was there. What made being ignored really easy today was a guy attracting notice who was walking around. Xavier was often in the court yard and had never seen the guy before. It was obvious the guy didn't know anyone and didn't exactly know Hammel all that well. He didn't look young enough to be a student but was totally not a teacher.

Xavier was too curious to leave the guy be, so he walked over to him. " Never been around here have you?" Xavier didn't usually walk up to random people but this guy didn't look like he would have ever known Xavier and frankly, he was running low on people who would believe that he was 21 and this seemed like a present on his doorstep. Unless Xavier was way mistaken, which he could be, this guy was at least 21, maybe a little older.

Aless was surprised that this man walked up to him without any kind of provocation. Was he looking for a fight? No, there was mischief a light in his eyes. Something didn't settle right about this boy with Aless, but he ignored it, happy to have someone to talk to. "No, I'm not. But I'm kind of...seeing someone who went here and I've heard about it through some of my friends and I got curious." He suddenly looked worried.

"Why? Am I not supposed to be here? I don't want to get in trouble or get you in trouble because I'm here. I kind of thought this was an open campus, at least outside." His rambling went on for another full minute before he fell into silence. If he wasn't supposed to be there, then the teachers he had passed earlier would've asked him to leave.

Though Aless could be terrifying from the get-go, this kid didn't seem to mind the giant. "What are you here for?" he asked him quietly as if they were in a jail cell.

" Your fine to be here or at least I think there is no rule against it. I have had no troubles with it." Xavier had the feeling that this guy felt nervous or at least unsure of what to do. Xavier had no such problem and would be sure to use any hint that he was older than he looked.

" I'm Xavier, who might you be? I pass around here often to hang with some old friends that I had here. They don't seem to be around though. " Xavier was proud of that lie. It was vague enough to suggest that he had been around here before but also that he was too old to go here. This was all said without saying exactly what he meant but just suggesting it.

Xavier was never intimidated by a larger guy. He had the power to destroy things, but even without his power he had the muscle to take on most things. His hobby was working out, running, getting away from it all and focusing on his physical health even though he ate junk food. His powers went through junk food like he only ate one meal a day.

Aless's face crumbled into a sweet smile. This guy wasn't as bad as he made him out to be. He looked a little rough around the edges, you didn't need a power to know that, but he wasn't snide or rude. "My name is Alessandro. I'm currently...seeing someone who comes here and of course, I got curious." He didn't want to give out Jace's name just in case this guy was an ex or something. Aless may have been strong, but he definitely didn't like to fight. He leaned against one of the trees behind him.

This school had always had him curious, but he was too scared to ever step foot on it. He thought that he would get banned or that teachers would report him for trespassing on the school property when he actually wasn't a student. How unfair would've that been? Well, kind of unfair he supposed. "So, you used to go here? That's pretty cool I suppose. What kind of power do you have?" He wasn't usually so blunt, but this guy let him relax and be himself, kind of.

" Everyone gets curious, who doesn't want to see a school where people have powers. " Xavier gestured to the school behind him to make his point. Alessandro seemed really nice and extremely gullible although Xavier wasn't giving ridiculous lies.

Xavier decided to show his power instead of tell him it seemed like the thing to do if he was actually good at his power. Luckily he could start a flame on his finger and control it just fine. He pointed his finger up and a small flame started on the tip. " I control fire and it can get bigger although we are standing next to a tree so lets not try it. "

" Hey what are you doing later"

Aless jumped at the sight of the flame. The fact that they could go that without burning their skin? He looked beside him at the tree and nodded quickly. "Nothing...why?" he asked, putting his hand on the bark. After what he saw, he needed to feel something real. The guy was real... He wondered what Xavier wanted.
