General Appearance:
Jennifer is someone who was brought up very ladylike. Her main wardrobe was dresses and demure outfits that kept her as a conservative girl. She kept on dressing this way all though out her life and wears things that are very quiet in the personality. Jennifer takes her time time to get ready and almost always looks polished.
Standing at around five feet seven inches Jennifer is known to have excellent posture and will always sit or stand up straight. She doesn't hunch. Jennifer keeps her auburn hair in a short pixie cut that she finds suits her better then long hair. It is also helpful as it does not have to be fussed with looked after. All she has to do in the morning is run a comb through it and it looks pretty, polished, and neat. Jennifer almost never wears make up. She just doesn't need it. Sometimes, for special occasions, though she will wear a lipstick and some rosy blush. Not too much though, that would defeat the purpose.She keeps herself clean and tidy, and wont hesitate to bring out her lint roller and clean her clothes if she thinks they are messy.
Personality:
Jennifer is someone who is in the essence of the word, sweet. You will never meet a more genuine person with their feelings and thoughts. Jennifer is known to keep a smile on her face and is an optimist in a way. She always tends to look on the bright side of things and will never hesitate to give you a hug if you look like you need one. Jennifer will go out of her way for you, if you ask her to, heck even if you didn't ask her too. The way that Jennifer was raised she was expected to d the housework and the sewing in the house. She enjoys doing both as she thinks it is better to have cleanliness then be annoyed at having to do it. Jennifer doesn't mind when others put themselves before her and actually encourages it, as she is perfectly content helping others to achieve what they want.
Jennifer has no trouble talking to someone about something. She is naturally a very bright person and will try to make the little things count. She always opens a door for the person behind her, stands when someone approaches, and lives by the philosophy that ding a good deed a day will make you a better person, not to mention improve the lives of those around you.If you become friends with her expect random gifts and a loyal friend. She believes in the good of people, no one is mean or bad without a reason, and Jennifer believes that it is her duty to try and help. Even if it is only sitting with you and talking.
Sometimes Jennifer can get a little lost in her trying to “help”. She will be so focused she can sometimes become overbearing. She doesn't mean it, she really just wants to help, honest. Jennifer is also a bit of an airhead and can get lost in her head world, whether it be memories or it is fantasies. Jennifer doesn't always know what to say in odd situations. Sometimes she will say something but it will mean the entire opposite. Jennifer won't be the one to take charge of something, ever. She will however support you with all of her might. Jennifer won't understand why anyone would want to hurt her so she is very fragile in her emotions that way, when someone does betray her she feels helpless and gets depressed very easily. Soon enough though, she will bounce back and recover, just as smiley as ever.

History
Jennifer Monroe was born at 6:12 am in the morning. James Monroe had already been up a few hours working and her brother was still sleeping.Jasmine Monroe had been up in the wee hours of the morning feeling the baby coming. With no way to get in hold of her husband Jasmine made an executive decision and called the ambulance. At 5:54 am the ambulance got there. At 6:00 the ambulance was at the hospital and at 6:12 am Jennifer was born from a c-section. At 6:16 am Jasmine Monroe died because of severe bleeding. Jennifer was left without a mother and only a father and a brother to raise her.
Growing up on a small farm was an interesting experience to say the least. Jenifer learned how to work hard, get things done and to be compassionate to others all throughout her life. Jennifer didn't have a strong female influence in her life, yet her father insisted she become a lady, like her mother was. They didn't have a lot of money growing up, but they always had each other. Jennifer was soon proving to be the happy one who made sure everyone around her was happy. Every day she would go to pick flowers for her daddy and would soon learn to cook, and clean. She learned how to sew, to fix patches and learned how to keep the house in general. She never saw anything wrong with the way that they lived and liked it very much.
At age 16 she went on her first date, much to her brother's and father's dismay.His name was Adam Joy and he was the most amazing person she knew. He was extremely gentle and incredibly soft spoken, but when it came down to it he could hold his own in the worst of the worst fights. She happily took him home to meet her brother and her father, anxious for them to like him. After all the two were in love.
Jennifer never knew just how much her brother and her father were protective of her until she brought that boy home. Adam, thankfully, had gotten past all of the trials that had been set for him by her family. She had to be in the house by 10:00pm and the boy had to pick her up and drop her off in person where her daddy could see him. Jennifer was glad that her date could stand her father and her brother. Lets just say that her dad and her brother got scolded pretty badly after that.
Shortly after high school, Adam entered the army and gave Jennifer two choices, come with him, or be left behind. Of course she went with him, making sure to be the one who was his solid rock. Adam made it through basic training and before he was deployed he proposed to Jennifer. They had a small short wedding with only the important family members, since he had to leave so soon. Jennifer Monroe was now Jennifer Joy.
With her husband away in foreign countries, Jennifer threw herself into her schooling. She was eventually able to maintain a bachelors degree in Nursing, to become a RN after four years. It was right after that that she got the news. She remembered it clearly. She had been sitting at home watching the news when a knock at the door came. It was three in the afternoon and she wasn't expecting anyone, yet there was that knock.Smiling she stood and went to the door, feeling a pit in her stomach. What she saw at the door made her heart lurch. It was an officer carrying a flag and a box. She slowly opened the door her heart pounding asking what it was. Then she was told. Adam had been killed in a bombing.
At first she was shocked, she didn't think it to be true. Though she knew it was, she still wanted to believe it wasn't. Overcome with grief and sadness Jennifer became depressed. She was someone who wasn't herself, not at all smiling. The depression consumed her and affected her. Only when her father and brother planned an intervention was she made to go get the medicine needed to help her. Through numerous trials she was finally able to find a balance that worked for her, though one of the side effects was pacing. Jennifer knows that she needs to take her medicine and doesn't want to spiral back into what she was for that long year. Adam was still apart of her life, even if he wasn't here anymore. He would want her to be happy.
She found work at Maddock General hospital in Vermont through her brother.It was a change and it was something she wanted. The position was perfect and she could still work on getting her Masters from the university of Vermont as well. Right now she is trying to life her life with a smile, not caring what anyone else thinks. It has been two years since Adam has died and even though it left a huge hole in her heart she is slowly starting to heal.
