Powers: Metallikinesis. Estelle can manipulate the physical shape of any metal or alloy. However, because she’s not altogether trained, when she tries to manipulate the same metal too long, it will either melt, or sometimes explode. She’s never hurt anyone (besides herself) yet, but it’s a point of great concern for her. If she needed to, with more training, she could potentially manipulate the metal in the human body (ie: iron, potassium) to control another person. But she would never actually do that, and likes to pretend she actually couldn’t. Side effects of using her power vary depending on the type of metal she’s using. If she comes into contact with heavy metals for too long, she experiences the side effects of heavy metal poisoning (nausea, fatigue, fainting, loss of appetite, and loss of consciousness after a long time).

General Appearance: Estelle is tiny. At just about five feet tall, she’s not exactly physically intimidating. Not only that, but she’s a thin little thing (a possible side effect of her powers). However, this makes her built for her passion: gymnastics. Estelle is a brown belt in aikido (even though she doesn’t like it) and excels in gymnastics, which helps to keep her in shape and light on her feet. She dresses nicely, but rarely in skirts and dresses (because how are you supposed to do a proper handspring in a skirt? I ask you.). She has a favorite blue jacket with a crest that reminds her of Harry Potter and she wears it all the time. She has a round, open face that is almost always smiling and kind eyes. She looks and acts as approachable as possible because she wants to meet as many new people as possible.
Personality:Anyone who meets Estelle will immediately agree that she’s one of the friendliest people they’ve ever met. She’s always excited to make new friends and hear people talk about themselves. She’s very polite and respectful to her elders and thinks that manners shouldn’t be forgotten. She loves to read and she loves school, so she’s especially admiring of teachers and thinks that maybe she’d like to be a teacher too someday. It’s a rare occasion when Estelle has a frown on her face and even rarer still is when she chooses to be angry. She’s incredibly tolerant and excusing of other people. As long as nobody tries to hurt her friends. Once her temper is roused (which takes a lot), it is almost impossible to stop. She can be stubborn, especially in situations like that, when she’s angry and looking for a fight. The problem with Estelle’s personality on the whole is that she sometimes gets taken advantage of, and she allows the situation to get to the boiling point before she explodes, which isn’t the best way to handle things. But Estelle goes out of her way to meet people and try to be a friend to people who may need one. That is sometimes appreciated, and sometimes not, but she’ll always be there for you with a smile on her face. She’s an optimist and remembers to count her blessings, because there’s always someone worse off than you.

History
Estelle’s life began as normal as possible, with a mother, father and older brother whom she instantly worshipped. When she was five, however, her father contracted lung cancer from a lifetime of smoking and when she was six, he finally died. After this point, her family began to crumble. Her mother vowed to never remarry, but struggled to make ends meet for her family. With no other family to help them, Eric worked through high school to help the family live and Estelle was prepared to do the same. Then, when Estelle turned fourteen, she was making dinner. She’d gotten into a fight with her brother and was furious. She didn’t notice anything was wrong until she realized she’d manipulated the metal pot into a twisted heap. She burned her hands when she touched it, trying to twist it back to the way it was. Her mother came home to the sight of Estelle trying to manipulate the pot back to normal, only making it worse. Hammel recruiters came to get her shortly thereafter. She was all too happy to leave for Hammel, because after her disaster in the kitchen, her family didn’t want anything to do with her, so appalled of the fact that she was metahuman and afraid of what she could do to them. She went to Hammel with the hope of mastering her power and maybe winning back the love of her family.
