Jae Min stood in between the bookshelves, scanning the bindings that were there. It was in the middle of the school day, but that didn't stop him from going to the public library. Last block he handed out To Kill A Mockingbird to his students. He only had a few copies left, and he needed more for his next class. Thus, he was at the public library to see if they had some he could use. But so far he could only find three copies, and doubted he would discover more. He kept trying anyways.
He turned to the bookcase that lined the wall. He none of the titles caught his eye as what he needed. A long sigh came from Jae as he shuffled around to the next shelf. It was bit of a disappointment, but he'd somehow have to manage. For now he plopped into a chair at a small table by the end of the aisle. Placing the copies of the assigned book on the table, he checked his watch. Still just half an hour till he had to be back at Hammel. Jae decided to take this time to relax with a book. After all, what else was a library for?
Leaning onto the back two legs of the chair, Jae grabbed for the closest book. Coming back forward with a little 'thump,' he read the title as Tomorrow Never Dies. A book from the James Bond series. Jae shrugged and opened to the first chapter. He was willing to give it a try. His eyes became glued to the book as he took in the story word for word, his memory in action. He'd usually read the summary of the book to see if it peeks his interest first, as he didn't want to remember a horrible story for who knows how long. But today Jae Min wasn't being picky. He just needed something to fill his time for the next thirty minutes or so. While his eyes took in the story of James Bond's adventures, his ears kept listening to the sound of people flipping pages every so often, and weaving through the aisles. Occasionally he looked up to see someone pass by, but he stayed close to his book.
