Wanted: Roommate (And Menace to Society)

Meet Mark.

Now, before anyone says anything, James and I picked the name Mark for this character before we found a playby. So it really has nothing to do with the fact that we both adore Jesse Eisenberg and The Social Network. Mark is a common enough name, and scruffy Jesse is the perfect fit.

ANYWAY. Mark is Levi's new roommate and soon-to-be friend. I NPC'd him in the timewarp, but I figure it would be more fun to have someone actually play him. So his personality has to fit with the conversation in the first post. He's also the friend in New York who gets arrested in November 2024. It wasn't the first time he was arrested, and the one time he was convicted, he won on appeal.

Basically, he sees his power as a business opportunity and will charge a nominal fee for a "zap." Whether he starts this at Hammel or not is up to you, but that's why he was arrested multiple times. The one conviction was tweaking the charge from a drugs crime to prostitution, but that's the one he wins on appeal.

He's a chill, laid-back guy and likes talking to people. He's not one to pick a fight, and if someone doesn't like him, he doesn't care much.

History and pretty much all other details are up to you, despite me having some more ideas for them, because I am a crazy person and come up with extensive backgrounds for NPCs.

I'm thinking of taking this guy. His power seems like a lot of fun and a potential for some great plots. I was wondering, though, as to what you pictured his personality to be like. I read the post, but could you maybe give me a more elaborate description of how you picture him?
