It had been a bad day for Alyssa. A simple run while in wolf form had left her with waves of pain radiating from all of her joints when she returned to human form. She trailed behind a group of teens from school, trying to blend in despite her obvious limp. She knew they would end up somewhere with booze and that was her goal for the evening. Alcohol numbed the pain marvellously.
Eventually she followed the group into someone' apartment, near the clubs in town. There was loud music and enough of a crowd that no one noticed her crashing the party. Her eyes settled on the drinks and she made her towards them, turning down an older boy's invitation to dance. She had started with a light beer; it was something she was familiar with and knew she could handle. She was just beginning to sip from it when that same boy offered to mix her a 'real drink'. The pain was still intense and she readily agreed, downing the drink as quickly as she could to avoid the strong taste lingering in her mouth. Her rapid pace amused her companion and he offered to make her another, then another.
It didn't take long for Alyssa to become intoxicated. Her 'bartender' had introduced himself as Mike at some point and it seemed to her that he was becoming much more charming with each sip of her drink. Once again, there was an offer to dance and Alyssa managed to slur out a response that she was not feeling well enough. Mike offered to help, and shortly she found herself swaying on the dance floor, with one of his hand firmly planted on her back and the other hand roaming over her body. She wasn't sure which was spinning more, them or the dance floor.
It barely registered in Alyssa's mind when Mike began to maneuver her towards the hallway that lead to the bedrooms. "Hey." She mumbled. "Where we goin'? Party's back there." There was some response about a private party that normally would have set off alarm bells in Alyssa's mind. In her current state, she simply felt confused, and the party goers around her seemed not to notice her predicament as Mike tugged her towards the bedrooms again.
