Need Translations?

In every language you could think one sentence was written in succession. Of course, the English sentence was bolder, more noticeable than the rest. It was the market he was going to attract me here at Hammel; the others were simply to show what languages were available. Speakers of the other languages would confirm that the English sentence matched its foreign counterparts.

"Need something translated? Maybe an interpreter? Email me at [e-mail] or visit me in the boys' dorm, room 505!"

He was hoping that would be enough.

Vincent walked across campus in ground-eating strides, his long legs devouring the distance between himself and his office with every step. He needed his dictionary, and he was foolish to have left it behind when it had all his notes on slang and nuances. He had almost passed the bulletin board when a long list of languages caught his eye.

Scanning through the huge list, he noticed as he passed over the English, Russian, Chinese, and finally Japanese sentences that they were all saying the same thing. Fishing out a pen, the too-tall Asian man wrote the listed email and dorm number on his left forearm, glancing back and forth to make sure it was correct before hurrying on. He had a class to teach.
