In her past, Penelope had been a really wild girl. Staying out late, partying, doing all kinds of drugs, smoking, having sex with complete strangers and all sorts of shady business. This started after the death of her father. Well, mostly at least. She caught her mother cheating on him before he left for another operation somewhere in the world. Her father worked in the military, but he was far from a strict man. He was gentle, kind and smart man. And Penelope could not fathom why her mother would pick some drunken hillbilly over him. And when she found out, her relationship (Pretty non existing, even before that.) went completely off the radar. And then, he died on duty. Just like that. So Penelope turned into a complete rebel mostly to piss her mother off, but also to blow of a lot of steam. So, one thing lead to another and she became wild-ling.
Though, after her arrival at Hammel, she had calmed down quite a lot. Not because she wanted to, but mostly because of the lack of friends, and of course, it was a lot stricter here than it had ever been back home. She started feeling restless and uneasy, so it all ended up with her using her fake ID to get a hold of some booze, cigarettes and tequila.
It was pitch black outside, and the school was silent. It was way past hours, and she had packed her alcohol and cigarettes in a rug sack. She had put her hair up in a messy knot, and peeked outside her bedroom door. All quiet.
She walked into an empty classroom who had seen better days. She didn't really know what it was used for, not that she really cared anyways. She put her rug sack on the floor and pushed one of the desks against the window, opened it and sat down. She leaned down for the rug sack and placed it on the desk beside her. Time to get drunk, woo. She opened up a beer and drank it as she lit herself a cigarette. Her feet dangled outside of the window and she looked up at the sky. It was a beautiful night. The sky was packed with yellow and white stars, and the giant moon gave the ground below her a ghost-like appearance. She took another sip of the beer.
''Oh, Bee. If only you knew how lame you are for getting drunk all by yourself.'', she said and grinned. Well, she could worry about that later. She was pretty damn sure the major hangover she'd get would be punishment enough.
