His arrival at Hammel during the summer break had been something of a blessing for Sebastian. Though there were still students and staff milling around there were significantly fewer than there were mid-term, making the place a touch less terrifying than it otherwise would have been. He was still very much a stranger to the school though, keeping to his dorm as much as possible and only socialising when he had to. It was achieving the goal of keeping him safe, out of harms way and separated from all the other freaks and abominations in this place. But he was still used to having others around him, and he was quickly getting lonely.
Scrawny fingers brushed through long blonde hair, tying it back into a neat ponytail secured with a navy blue hair tie as Sebastian made his way towards the salad bar in the cafeteria. So far the salad bar had been the only part of the lunch menu that he had explored, and he was quite happy to keep it that way. Seb didn't know how they cooked or prepared the food here and he wasn't prepared to risk contaminating himself with it. He had already been mutated by something, he didn't want to make it worse by exposing himself to the vileness of mass produced, additive filled garbage.
After selecting a mixture of the raw, fresh vegetables and picking up a fruit pot for after, Sebastian made his way to an empty table and sat quietly. Nearby two girls ate pizza and fries and were being obnoxiously loud, and Sebastian wrinkled his nose slightly in distaste. Maybe this was what his mother had meant by the curses destroying decency and manners. Two lettuce leaves and a piece of cucumber were put to one side of the tray and he began to eat in silence, occasionally casting blue eyes around the room, watching out for any sign that he needed to leave.
