What was the reason behind this? A school retreat was supposed to be fun, but that was typically for social people. Ellie wasn't social. So what was she doing here? She didn't have to come. She didn't have to be here. Yet, she had forced herself to stop being such a bump on a pickle and try to at least have some fun. Callie was going to be here, along with Carter and hopefully she'd see Lux and Peyton as well. See? She had friends to hang out with, she didn't have to be alone and sad and mopey. That was what she had been for about a week and she was done feeling sorry for herself for being stupid and breaking up with Guy. It was time to move on with her life and stop dwelling.
But why did she have to be stupid and put herself in a painfully social situation. Sharing a cabin with 11 other girls...some that she might not know or want to know for that matter. People scared her more times than not. Oh she just hoped that she had Callie to keep her from being too afraid. This was going to be such a disaster if she couldn't find someone to cling to for the entirety of the trip without being a nuisance. She didn't want to bother any of her friends. Especially Carter since he'd dealt with her recently. Callie had enough on her plate and everyone else just wanted to have fun. She had a feeling she was going to be the downer of the group.
Elisia was walking around the campsite, all of her things had been dropped off at the cabin and all of her expensive and personal possessions were on her so she wasn't too worried. She had escaped the cabin before being forced to meet someone new that would probably make her feel all shy and flustered. The retreat was meant for meeting new people and hanging out with friends, but here she was, alone because she didn't want to bug anyone. Sometimes she was just too nice for her own good, that and she was too big of a wallflower as well. There was nothing wrong with being alone though.
Even if it did cause her to think.
She had her arms wrapped around her torso as she sung softly to herself, taking it all in, the sights, the scenery. It really was pretty out here.
