Powers: Super Speed: Gordon can run up to 100 miles per hour at maximum. He has a real problem with coming to a stop and making turns. He often gets nauseous or dizzy after using his power, and his power makes him incredibly impatient as well. He also has terrible handwriting.

Any Scars? Lots on his arms where he got minor scrapes but wouldn't let them heal.
General Appearance: Gordon is usually seen with his hair unkempt and unruly. He typically lets his hair grow out until it reaches shoulder length, and then he goes completely bald until it grows back, repeating the process continually.

As for clothes, Gordon never really puts much thought into his clothing choices, ever. He is almost always completely mismatched, wearing clashing colors and sometimes even inside-out shirts. He just doesn't care. Although, he might try a look out just for kicks, experimenting with various hair dyes and color contacts.
Personality: Gordon is, above all, an impatient person. He doesn't like waiting for anything or anyone. He likes things to go quickly and smoothly, without any unnecessary interruptions or delays. If you can get things done quick, you are automatically in Gordon's good books.

Speaking of which, he does like making friends and is good at it too. He's a very sociable person, but any relationships he gets involved with tend not to be too long-term. Another thing he tends to do is talk. A lot. Most of the time its not even important, but he will talk your ear off if you let him.

Gordon enjoys physical activity, especially running. He loves having fun, although he does get tired of things very quickly.He also enjoys new experiences and strives to gain as many new experiences as possible.

History

The Bishops have been a meta family, for the most part, since Gordon's grandfather manifested way back when. Gordon's father was a meta, and so was his mother. They spread their genes into Gordon and all of his many siblings.

So, Gordon grew up in a house full of metas. Yeah, it was absolute chaos growing up as his older siblings manifested one by one. Powers were definitely used and abused and overall, it probably wasn't the safest environment to be raised in.

Gordon himself manifested when he was just 13, but by this point his parents figured that all of their children would manifest, and they ultimately decided to just move to Pilot Ridge so they could have easier access to the Hammel institute.

Gordon was pretty popular at school, for the most part. He participated in lots of sports and won lots of trophies, but athletics was never what he wanted to spend his life doing at all. No, he had always wanted to help others with his powers in ways that others might not be able to. So he decided to become a firefighter and spend his time helping people. At least when he's not off experimenting with some new experience, that is.

This is a great start, and he's going to be a very interesting character. However, my main concerns are with his power.

1. Getting tired and needing to eat a lot aren't really side effects of a power. The side effects for super speed in the Hammel Universe are listed as nausea, dizziness, impatience, and terrible penmanship. We can talk about some other appropriate ones if you'd like.

2. Durability and superspeed don't usually go together in the Hammel universe. We're guessing you put this in because there was the concern that he wouldn't be able to withstand high speeds. However, it is assumed that the ability to withstand the speed comes with the power, so if that's the concern, you're good with just speed! If you'd like the combination, please PM a staff member and we can discuss this.
