Wren’s power is HYDROINVISIBILITY, which means he turns invisible (or, at the very least, a little transparent) in water. Unfortunately, SWIMMING has been literally his favorite thing for as long as he can remember, and the manifestation of his powers meant that he had to put everything on hold to adjust to Hammel in MAY 2010. He came around, though, and he’s made a handful of friends since. He’s on the swim team, and his favorite event is the 1500m freestyle. He also likes to JOG. Oh, and EAT. He likes to eat, too.
Wren makes a great FRIEND for anyone who is loud, energetic, or otherwise passionate and perhaps even slightly obnoxious. He can be so patient that it’s a little alarming, and he adjusts admirably to the little quirks that everyone at Hammel seems to have. His GOOD FRIENDS are likely people who understand his fascination with water, don’t pressure him too much, and like to tell stories.
He doesn’t have much by way of ENEMIES, although people who are super competitive with him tend to grate on his nerves. He doesn’t really like to race, and he doesn’t like sore losers or sore winners. He doesn’t think this is the purpose of sports – or anything, really. A better word for the people he doesn’t get along with might be RIVALS, because these are usually the people who seek him out to further their athletic abilities. Also, no grammar freaks allowed, unless they’re nice about it.
As far as ROMANCE is concerned, Wren doesn’t consider himself particularly popular with the ladies. He mostly just feels like kind of a dweeb, although he won’t shy away from attention – he might not be popular with the ladies, but the ladies are still popular with him. He’s not sure that he has a type; maybe he’ll figure it out. For now, though, he’s in the habit of admiring quietly from afar.

Jin-hwan’s power is CONFECTION GENERATION, which means he can create magical candy between his fingertips. Okay, maybe not magical candy – he has to use his own glucose and water reserves to make it. But it’s sort of like magic! Sort of. Unfortunately, he’s a super NEAT FREAK and having sticky hands makes him want to strangle something. Well… wash his hands, first, and then strangle something. He left his mother and two sisters in Los Angeles to come to Hammel in JANUARY 2009, and he loves the freedom it’s given him. He spends a lot of time thinking about AESTHETICS and FASHION. His super-ultimate dream of all time is to move to New York and become a GRAPHIC DESIGNER. He’s on the yearbook staff, and occasionally drops by chess club for a game or two – it’s good mental exercise.
Jin is likely to be FRIENDS with people who are stylish, fun, and adventurous. He’s fun to shop with, go to the movies with, and go out for coffee with. Don’t expect a sugary personality to match his power, though – Jin almost always says what he thinks, and not always in the kindest way. His GOOD FRIENDS are probably persistent, kind-hearted individuals who are patient and affectionate with him. He’s sort of like a Tootsie Pop – it takes a lot of work, but after you get through the hard exterior, there’s a sweet, soft center waiting for you underneath.
As far as ENEMIES are concerned, Jin is seriously annoyed by people who play first and work later, especially if they try to convince him to do the same. It should go without saying that he can’t stand homophobes, but let it be said anyway. Finally, his biggest pet peeves of all are being bossed around and ignored – it reminds him too much of the home life that he was a little too eager to leave, and you might find yourself on the wrong end of a surprisingly sharp temper.
