In the one tidy corner of Emma's room, where the desk sits, a large photo journal lies propped up on a pot of pencils. Inside, Emma has dedicatedly taken a photo for every day, and written small notes underneath. Her handwriting is deceptively tidy and easy to read, but the journal has a lock on it. It's clear she writes personal things on the pages, but she also likes to thumb through it, to remind herself of every day of her life so far.
