I can’t believe I almost missed this placed. It took almost two hours to set up Kaylee and the gang and check on all the surveillance, not to mention the time it took to go back through the tapes. Cleaning lady shorted out two of my cameras with that fucking duster of hers.

Possible Hammel, even CIA agent? Note down for investigation.

Replaced the audio bugs and pinhole cameras around the perimeter: the battery life on those things is shit, even after a few upgrades. Will have to visit downtown later to replace those as well.

Bank installments changed on schedule, account transfers taken care of. I wonder if it’s possible to run out of offshore island accounts? Might be possible to slow down the transfers?

Would cut down on the new credit cards too. The shredder needs resharpening way too often.

Update on Operation Hammel:
Still no go. Can’t get around the blockades. The techs this place has are good. I’m still going to be better though. There’s something weird going on here. Weirder then a bunch of teenagers with powers, I mean.

Doubt anyone outside the school could get any intel though. I mean, I cant get in.

Undercover still a no go. The receptionist twigged on Operation Potted Plant way too fast.

Kaylee’s going to need another reboot soon. The new cooling system I’ve been using is starting to fade out. I should be able to install her hard drive into a new laptop but I’m starting to worry it’s just buying borrowed time.

So, met the head of Hammel security... There's something seriously serious going on here; 'bad people are moving against Hammel.' Sounds like a line from some sort of cartoon action flick. Last year, when Jonah graduated, there was some bullshit speech about how high school are some of the best years of our lives. I hope not.

I know I'm not a nice person. I don't say anything that I don't mean and I don't see the point of lying when it's not part of a mission to gain knowledge that will help me get closer to the truth. They won't miss me. They'll remember me, but even that wont last long. And I don't care.

But there is something wrong with things, the way things are. With Metas and non Metas. And maybe Jonah's helped me see it, because he sure as fuck doesn't get treated the same way he would if he could hear.

The Hammel Institute is America's only Meta Human training facility. Every metahuman in around the world is guaranteed at least a three year sentence where we have to leave our families and be cut off from the world until we're deemed safe.

I gotta wonder....
