God he really didn’t want to do this. He never wanted to do this particular deed and he would usually do anything to avoid this particular aspect of life but now thank to some sort strange and fucked up social protocol, he was now bound to do it.
God damn it! Why was it expected of Jack to ask someone out? It would be so much easily if it was the other way around Jack couldn’t and never should be the one asking for dates, it just felt so very wrong to him. He knew that the entire school female population were salivating at the mere thought of him, so what would it take to for them to grow a set of balls and ask him already?
Of course the real reason why Jack never liked to ask out girls was become that being put into a emotionally vulnerable spot absolutely terrified him to his very core, and the concept of being rejected still hit him hard despite what kind of front he put on…but Jack would rather ask out a million girls then directly confront his emotions.
…but he was rapidly running out of options even since Layla turns him down because her boyfriend was a controlling bag of dick, who wouldn’t let her go with him…because he’s crazy like that and along with her there most of the girls were ruled out and now there was only one person that Jack could ask, but it was the one person…he really…really didn’t.
Rya would love if it Jack asked her out…just love it. She would just revel in the fact that she had Jack over a barrel, and would take great pleasure in making the experience as painful and humiliating as possible. Not that Jack begrudged her that, if he was in her shoes he would do the exact same thing.
So Jack was trying to find a solution to this mental conundrum by the lake by his “office” by the lake which he had to say was coming along nicely. He had his “Stash” safely hidden away and he did indeed to manage to somehow drag a recliner armchair from a local dumpster to here. Which was he was now sitting pretty in, smoking a cigarette to his heart’s content.
