The easy S T U F F . . .Name: Sylvie(Pronounced like Sylvia) Alixandre Richelieu
Nickname: Any nicknames
Age: Eighteen (Born May 3rd)
Member Group: Student (Fresh from Paris)
Power(s): Petrification: Sylvie has the unique ability to turn herself into stone. The stone in which she transforms to is an incredibly strong, durable substance that is difficult to break. Her vital organs do not adhere to the petrification – rather, they are protected by the stone itself to ensure she cannot die via her own petrification. A significant drawback is that while in her stone form, Sylvie cannot move. And at this point, she lacks the appropriate amount of concentration to always snap herself out of this state, meaning sometimes she is stuck in a stone form for an extended period of time. However, her ability extends to the point where she can turn certain parts into stone as opposed to her whole body. Other side effects include severe post-petrification muscle cramps, as it is primarily her muscles that initiate the transformation. Her skin also often carries a soft, cooled texture to it.

Annabelle Richelieu, Paris' uprising Film Queen, and wife of Parisian Senator Théodore Richelieu has given birth to a healthy baby girl at 4:40 AM. As of yet no name has been announced but the Hôtel-Dieu de Paris can confirm that both mother and baby are being exceptionally well taken care of. More news online as the story progresses.
Vogue Paris (November 1995 - The Life issue)
Her new film "Like a Lotus" recently hit the big screen, and now Annabelle Richelieu talks about directing the controversial film in Vogue Paris magazine's Life issue.
While donning designer pieces from Giorgio Armani and Louis Vuitton for the Yves Lavallette-shot spread, the 31-year-old director/producer revealed the way she approached the drama and discusses life as a new mother.
...
How has life changed for you now that you are a mother?
"Oh it's changed (laughs)! Ever since Sylvie has come into my life everything has turned completely upside down. In a good way of course. I find that being a mother has granted me a newfound respect for my femininity and sensuality, which is peculiar considering how un-sensual I felt in those last few days. I absolutely revere the strength of my body; the visceral experience of giving birth was like nothing I have ever felt in my life before, and in hindsight I'm happy we prepared for it so my husband knew what not to do (laughs). But I don't remember much of the pain to be honest, simply seeing this beautiful little baby girl in my arms for the first time was like a revelation from God. Sylvie is mine and I am hers and never before have I felt such an irrevocable and unwavering love for another human."
Aside from your husband of course.
"Oh yes, can't forget him!"

Only Mr. Hamm wants to play but he's a boy and boys dont play with dolls and he is always taking care of the house. He says mama is at her movies and papa is busy in his job so I have to be a good girl. I cleaned up my room without Lydia, she sometimes takes my toys. She says I have too many and her daughter needs some. I don't like her, she is mean and should ask papa to get her daughter toys, he gets me toys.Love Sylvie xOxo*October 7th, 2002Dear Parents of Sylvie Richelieu,It has come to the attention of the teaching body at L'Ermitage that your daughter has been behaving in a rather peculiar fashion, one which has raised alarms amongst the resident counselors. Sylvie refuses to speak with her teachers and avoids most of her peers, and whilst she is still an exceptionally gifted child the council is worried that she may be suffering from depression or anxiety. Any chance of conversing with her is often rebuffed with little more than a nod or the occasional glare. Although we have yet to confirm any of these theories there is sufficient evidence that there may be some issues occurring either at home or in the playground that we are unaware of.
Whilst it is preferable that either both or one of you come in for a meeting, we understand if you are currently too busy to discuss the potential issues facing your child. If you do hope to sit down with Principle Jeanne-Claude please contact the student office at xxxx-xxxx between 7 am and 6 pm.
Kind Regards,
Lynette Berger (Head of grade 2)WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S OKAY?!
SHE WAS BULLYING A GIRL IN HER CLASS!Sweetie, all children behave like this in school.
It's how they survive.I DID NOT RAISE A BULLY!
HOW DARE YOU JUSTIFY THIS!Annabelle! Listen!
Sylvie is just getting used to being around others...How...how can you be so calm...?
This is our daughter, she's too young to be a monster. What do you want me to do then huh?You are her father for Christ's sake! Discipline her!Fine...I'll take away her toys as punishment.Please...just do something...
[May 11th, 2004]*Dear Diary,Today mama and papa said we were going overseas to meet Izabelle and Dextra. It's all the way in America where they make Lizzie Mcquire and Kim Possible. I want to stay in a hotel because I don't like their house because I don't think they like me, especially Dextra, she's always angry. I'm going to miss my friends! Carter said I could stay with him and his brother but Papa said no! He thinks boys are bad for me but the twins are fun and they're nice to me!
I hope my cousins are at school when I get there, it's going to be awkward if they aren't.!Love Sylvie xo

Dear Parents of Sylvie Richelieu,
We are writing to you in regards to your daughter’s recent academic achievement. As we are aware your time is precious, allow us to be frank; Sylvie has performed astoundingly in her recent aptitude tests. Because of this, we feel her academic standing is above that of her peers. At your earliest convenience, we’d like to arrange a meeting to discuss how we should proceed with Sylvie’s schooling. The Headmaster is requesting that she move a grade ahead of her peers.
Should you have reason to believe this decision is not an appropriate one, we’ll discuss it further at the aforementioned meeting.
Regards,
Jeanne-Claude Sinclair
Deputy HeadmasterPS: We’d like to point out that we’re incredibly grateful for your daughter’s change in behavior.[August 21st, 2007]*Dear Diary,So I got the call from teen Vogue today! They asked for me to come in and take a few photos with Yves so hopefully that goes well. I am so excited but I'm not too surprised actually. If getting handpicked by the editor without having to use my parents name means anything then I guess it's just Fate. Besides, all the other girls were really awkward and tried way too hard, not to say they weren't pretty but some of them didn't look fit for this industry.
Yves is a good friend and she promised me that it's super easy and all I need to do is relax. Doesn't sound too hard actually and if I'm paired up with a good looking boy or girl then that's even better! Just have to make sure there aren't any photos that are too risqué, not that I care but it won't help dad's career and you know what those tabloids are like. Always hoping to cut down the bourgeoisie because of petty jealousy or something equally stupid.
Mum can't make it because of filming but she promised me we'd go and have a celebratory dinner at Restaurant le Meurice, we haven't been there since dad got harassed by that idiot customer. They invented private booths for a reason! Anyways, that should be nice and I'll probably visit the twins afterwards if they aren't too busy. Carter's already sent congratulations, which is nice.
Well, better start getting on with my newfound career!Love always, Sylvie xJournaux Français*

They are actually one of them.
Who would've thought that those two would have been gifted with such a...I don't even know whether to call it a curse or not. I am jealous, heartbroken and enthralled all in one and it hurts to contemplate the results of this...transformation.
Apparently there's a school in America that caters to such ilk, a place where freaks and fairies come together in a superpowered orgy. I hate to think how my beloved friend's will be treated there, girls are going to be all over them. I hope they find happiness, I really do...but I just can't fathom how this thing, this gene snatched away those two. I always thought it was the luck of the draw... I guess Fate is a gambler and with those two I hope He has got all of his cards right.
This is just so ridiculous!
I don't want them to leave.

[March 12th, 2012]*
They tell me I'm stuck with this thing for the rest of my life.
I cannot explain how it works, every professional that my father sends always ends up with the same stupid conclusion. I am a metahuman.
But why?
Father certainly isn't a meta, his line has remained pure as far as I know. It has to be mother. Yes, yes of course it's her. Her fucking nieces are metas...those bitchy little yanks with their powers. I actually pitied them at one stage, their mother was nice enough and I even attended the funeral. But now...I'm saddled with them and this race that I have no understanding of. I need Carter...I need someone to scrape away all this filth. I haven't told him yet, I'm really sure I don't want to either.
And you know what?!
People thought they could call me a 'gargoyle' and get away with it? To hell with them. I"m going to take that title and use it to its fullest extent if I have to. The last I remembered people were supposed to fear gargoyles...how peculiar.
This needs to get better, someway or somehow...
Sylvie.
June 23rd, 2013“Sylvie? It’s Carter.”“Finally! I’ve been calling you for days.”“I know, I haven’t checked my phone.”“Where the hell have you been? I’ve been... I was really worried about you.”“Sorry.”“I heard you were taking a trip from America over here.”“Dom and I are here now, yeah.”“...Are you planning on visiting? I’d love to see you.”“Well, I...”“Oh.”“Don’t be like that, mon trésor. This is important.”“It’s fine.”“I’m sorry, Sylvie. We just don’t have the time.”“I said it’s fine. I just miss you.”“Sylvie-”“Both of you. It would have been nice to see you both.”“Well, I-”““I’ve got to go, anyway. I’m busy too.”
[September 11th, 2013]*Today marks the day of a new chapter, one which actually excites me if I have to be honest.Footnotes
Kocher could have been so much better, but father knows what's good for me and even mother admits that Carter's school is a lot more suitable. Apparently the staff there are quite passionate about this meta business, as long as they don't try to turn me into a superhero I foresee a lot more comfort being around my kin. Too many rainbow gypsies here and not enough structure.
Mother has arranged with her brother to let me stay in their house if I want to. Definitely not, especially not with Dextra around. I have to stay well away from her and her sister, not the greatest company as I have painstakingly come to know. Besides, I'm sure they'd avoid me just as badly so this mutual distance will grant us all peace of mind. That is, if Dextra already isn't some crazed psychopath, controlling stuff with your mibd is bound to make you crazy. Wouldn't be surprised if she was.
I haven't told the twins about this, a surprise would surely light up those sour faces of theirs and Carter will soil his pants upon my arrival...or so I hope anyways. America is bound to bring me something good, it's changed some old friends in both the good and the bad. So I shall remain vigilant and having you, my dear little dairy, will keep me sane. Let this not be a mistake.
I will not miss Kocher, not one bit.
