Olivia couldn't believe how her luck was going today. She overslept, tried to turn back time to fix it, ended up speeding it up making it even later, put on her shirt inside out, tripped on the way to class tearing a new hole in her favorite vintage jeans, missed a question on her test, and it was only lunch time.
At least it was lunch time though. She now had some time to relax, and recover from the terrible luck that'd plagued her earlier that day. Things would go better, starting now. They had to. She just had to think positively. It was the secret and all that bullshit. So she plastered her signature smile on her face and waited on the long line of hungry students.
Of course, Murphy's law had to strike. After they ran out of pop corn chicken she was left with the questionable grey turkey from the day before.
"Thanks." She said taking her trey and heading towards the first empty table that she saw only to be cut off by a freshman with what appeared to be super speed, causing her to trip, again, and send her food flying into the kid in front of hers back.
"I. Am. So. Sorry!" She said immediately grabbing for napkins to pat them off. She felt terrible and now on top of embarrassing herself and the poor soul she dumped yesterdays meal on, she was left lunchless and feeling like she could cry.
Of course she could try and mend all of this by reversing time. But it was raining, and for some reason she always seemed to have a much more difficult time controlling her abilities during bad weather, and she'd already screwed up today by trying to take the easy way out. So she supposed she should just accept it.
