Pancakes!!...where's the chocolate though? (Open)

Dawn walked in the cafeteria with her suitcase, she didn't want to put it in her dorm yet. She was so hungry! She walked in the cafeteria and smiled wide at the smell of pancakes. Oh how they were amazing to smell. She walked in the cafeteria even more to see all eyes on her...great. She just looked at them with a straight face before walking to the line. 

Pancakes, sausage, milk...where's the chocolate? She didn't see any chocolate milk or anything. She looked at the lunch lady as if to say 'are you kidding me?' "Where's the chocolate milk?" The lady just sighed, rolled her eyes and walked off. "Nice attitude!!" She chuckled and then grabbed her plate. Once she turned around to face the people she paused, where could she sit alone at? It didn't seem to be anywhere. 

She sighed and walked with a tray in one hand and a handle in the other. She then walked to a few people and just sat down. She didn't say hi or anything, just started eating as if nobody was there. She didn't want to talk, it was her first day there after all. She didn't mind the stares or anything, but she did mind that there was no chocolate. "No chocolate..."

It was Evangeline's second day as a powers trainer at Hammel, though it didn't feel like it because she didn't have any students yet.  She was still getting her basic paperwork filed.  Given the number of schools she had worked with in the past, paperwork was no stranger to her, though that didn't make it any more fun. The forms were set out in front of her next to her bowl of cereal and tall glass of... chocolate milk. Hey, even adults needed to have some chocolate milk sometimes. It had taken her a moment to find it - it was hidden away in a corner of the cafeteria for some reason - but it was worth it, because chocolate milk.

She was sitting with a group of people she didn't really know - her paperwork was on her mind more than anything, she hadn't really paid attention to where she sat down. Evangeline looked up as a young woman sat down across from her. She seemed somewhat... irritated, perhaps, but more just inside herself. Evangeline knew the feeling - when she was new somewhere, or even just returned somewhere where people didn't like her, she did the same thing. "No chocolate..." the girl murmured.

"Looking for the chocolate milk?" she asked the girl, indicating her own tall glass. She would have offered it directly had she not already drank out of it.

She kept eating her pancake as she thought about what she would do today. Maybe she would fall off a bridge? No that would be too messy. Maybe amputation? Too painful. As she was sitting there just thinking about this she stopped eating and looked blankly at the table. This happened on occassions, which caused people to wonder what she was thinking about. "Chocolate milk?"

Dawn looked up with wide eyes at the person in front of her. What was that? Was she talking about chocolate? Dawn's favorite subject ever? She had to look at the teacher for a bit to see if she was lying. Then she looked at the drink as if it was the last edible thing there. "You have chocolate? Why do teachers get special treatments?" She then remembered all of what she said. This caused her to do a face palm and giggle. "Ohhh sorry. I'm addicted to chocolate, may be a problem...somewhat."

Mention of chocolate milk seemed to jolt the girl out of her reverie, and she just looked at Evangeline for a moment as if sizing her up. "You have chocolate? Why do teachers get special treatments?" Ah, yes, she had grown familiar with the many ways students would use to express suspicion of adults in her time as an institute official at various schools. "I found the chocolate milk in the corner," she responded, indicating the milk and iced tea machine with her hand. "I assure you students are allowed in that corner, it's not a teacher's only space," she added with a slightly amused smile.

"Ohhh sorry. I'm addicted to chocolate, may be a problem...somewhat." The girl facepalmed rather adorably as she seemingly realized what she had said. "Entirely understandable. It's not a problem as long as you can control your cravings," Evangeline added, tongue-in-cheek. She didn't think there would be a problem... as long as her power didn't have something to do with food, or the ability to blast people out of her way to gain access to chocolate. Evangeline stopped talking, anticipating that the girl would get up immediately to get her chocolate milk.

She nodded her head sheepishly at her little rant. She never cared what people thought usually but she knew when she did wrong. Once she pointed to the area Dawn stared at it. She also chuckled at what this teacher said. This woman had no idea how horrible it was to get in the way of Dawn when she wanted chocolate. She would break every bone in her body to get to the chocolate, no matter how painful.

Dawn couldn't take it anymore. She jolted up right and charged for the machine as if she was a vampire in a blood bank. Dawn grabbed as much chocolate milk as she was allowed to have and smiled wide, this was her heaven. Then once she remembered where she was she walked nonchalantly back to where the teacher was and sat down. "Control my craving of chocolate? impossible." She smiled wide at the fact that she didn't need any help with her gift, supposedly, but chocolate addiction? definitely.

Evangeline hadn't particularly minded the girl's first statement.  She knew it was made out of frustration, and in any case she was often right, and it was often unfair.  While some student-teacher suspicion was unwarranted, other times it was entirely justified, since teachers didn't always use their power over students to good ends.  It was something that Evangeline thought about a lot herself - how to use her power minimally and be fair while still enforcing her rules and boundaries.  She offered the young woman a smile, indicating that she wasn't upset.

She chuckled to herself as the girl jolted out of her seat and made a beeline for the machine.  Evangeline was entirely familiar with cravings from puberty, and chocolate had been one of them at times.  She hadn't always been fun to be around when she had had a strong craving that couldn't be satisfied - which was unfortunately common, given the nature of school cafeterias.  They just couldn't have everything all the time.  The girl returned and answered Evangeline's statement: "Control my craving for chocolate?  Impossible."

"We'll have to see if we can find you a Cravings Trainer for that," Evangeline joked.  "I'm Ms. Jada, by the way.  What's your name?"

Dawn started to drink the chocolate milk fast. She had to force herself to slow down though because the last time she did that...well she is banned from certain chocolate parties. She put the glass down and licked her lips with a small smile on her face towards the teacher. She heard the teacher ask her name but it took Dawn a while to talk again after eating chocolate. It just caused her to be very calm, depending on the situation.

After a few minutes she sighed and put her hands on her belly. She was in absolute bliss. "My name is Dawn, Ms. Jada. If you have a cravings trainer on board then I am all game." She chuckled at that knowing that the Ms. Jada was joking. If there was a such thing here they would have to drag her there, almost as if she was a victim in a murder scene screaming for justice. "How's work?..." She really didn't know what else to say, most people usually didn't talk to her.
