General Appearance: Beatrice is thin without much of a shape to her. If any shape, it'd be lanky. She's on the tail end of a growth spirt and is currently 5'2", though is still expected to grow some over the next couple years. She has hazel eyes that look brown or green depending on the light and what she's wearing and she has light brown, thick hair that goes down to her mid back, though she's trying to grow it down to her waist.
Beat is very active and interested in everything. Because of this her clothing tends to be very casual. She likes jeans, t-shirts, things that are easy for her to put together. Beat is in desperate need of new pants, currently they are a bit short on her due to her ever growing limbs. She is perfectly happy in them though and would rather call them capris than go shopping.
Personality: Beat in a word is spunky. She is sharp, smart, and clever for her age and tends to get herself into a decent amount of trouble. The worst thing for anyone who Beat knows, is for her to be bored, because then you might just become her next target. Of course it's all in good fun.
She's also incredibly friendly. As someone who gets bored easily, she likes to keep her options open and flutter from person to person picking their brain and seeing what they're all about. She generally really likes people and is optimistic about most.
If there's one thing that Beat can't stand it's being reminded that she's young, or being treated with "kid gloves" as she likes to call them. She went through some tragic stuff, she's still dealing with it and yes, she is still hurting, but no she doesn't want to be asked about it, and she doesn't want to be babied, ever. She also isn't one to talk about her own problems if not asked specifically about them. On the other hand she's not totally closed up either, she'll share blurbs, but not everything.

History
Beatrice booker was born 13 years ago to Maryna and Thomas booker in Boston. Growing up she had a pretty average, happy life. Both her parents were fortunate enough to have stable jobs, her father working at a Law firm and mother a librarian. She had an older brother named Benjamin who was her best friend.
Ben is probably the most important part about Beatrice's life. From the day she was born he had taken her under his wing declaring her "mine" from the moment he saw her. And Beat was his. Beat spent most of her free time with her brother, and his best friend Rowan, who was their cousin, even though the boys were 4 years older than her. Rowan taught her what the cool music was, what the cool TV shows were and Ben taught her how to be a really fierce tree climber. Together they were unstoppable.
When Beatrice was 9 all of this changed. In August, she was being babysat because she got sick while her parents and brother who was 13 went to his JV football game. On the way home from the game, they were t-boned by a drunk driver near the back of the car on Benjamin's side that he had been sitting on. Her parents had some minor injuries, but Ben took the worst of it and was rushed to the hospital only to pass away a few hours after the accident. Beatrice being so close to her brother was very damaged by it and took comfort in Rowan being there because he and Ben had been very close as well. Over the years, Rowan has stepped up to become a brother to her and they're practically inseparable.
This past August Rowan went back to visit them in order to make sure she was okay, like he did every year and since he returned at the beginning of September, she has distanced herself from him, but only because she knows that something is up with her.
Several weeks ago she thought she was seeing ghosts and woke up screaming. Her mother ran into her room, only to see what appeared to be her dead son's ghost flickering out on Beat's bed. Moment's later it was gone. This was the first time that Beat used her powers, she'd been having a nightmare about her brother dying and projected the image by illusion. A Hammel Representative was soon to follow up and has since been admitted into Hammel.
