All the Kiki! (Invite only)

[Elisia Lark]

Elisia only knew what a Kiki was because of the song that went along with it. Tim and Patrick sang it all the time and well, they eventually explained it to her before she had one last year. Due to the most recent boy drama she'd had (that was now resolved) she figured it might be a good time to have a real one. The inane chatter about boys, gossip and makeovers, well Ellie didn't usually do anything like that, but with all of her girl friends (and Alex) it just seemed like a good idea. This Kiki was bound to be amazing, and honestly it was exciting just getting ready for it.

Her first step had been buying snacks, now that Adrianna was no longer part of her dorm and Phoenix was probably doing disgusting things. She was on her own. She bought tons of chips, candy, junk upon junk and the fridge was stocked with the best kinds of pop. So next on her list had been laying out blankets and pillows for their epic sleepover. Lastly was just figuring out what to wear. She settled for some adorable froggy footie pajamas. Now she was just waiting for her guests to arrive.

Man oh man did she have a lot to spill. Granted most of it was from the past, and she was finally with a really great guy again (hopefully for longer than the last time), but still. Juicy details. And she couldn't wait to see what the others brought to the table. If there was a boy on their mind or a girl (either one really). Gossip among friends, gotta love it.

[Olivia Baker]

Ever timely, Olivia made her way to Ellie's dorm more excited than she expected to be. She didn't normally like big get togethers, they gave her a kind of anxiety and she felt socially uncomfortable and like every word that came out of her mouth was a campy joke that fell on it's face and died slowly, squirming, and gasping for life. But this was different. She actually felt, giddy.

Liv wrapped her knuckles on the door a couple times in a kind of musical tune. In hand she had a bag of hershey's kisses to contribute to the party as well as her Ukelele, just in case. It seemed like the right thing to bring given Ellie. Granted she wouldn't be surprised if she already owned one... that was besides the point.

"Open up lady!" Liv almost squealed, jumping out of her white nightgown. "I come baring chocolate and tiny guitar like instruments." She probably looked like a lunatic standing outside like this, she didn't much mind though, so sure that this night would be one for the books.

[Alexander Rothwell]

"Let's have a kiki~" Sang Alex, in a small voice as he rummaged through his backpack. Sour patch kids, Check, a case of mountain dew, Check, a stuffed owl for him to cuddle with, Check. The supplies for his contribution to the little get together all seemed in order, finally allowing himself a few moments of respite, the teen sat at the end of his bed. This last week had been very interesting, at least for him. Spending the night in Rowan's room was probably a topic that could keep himself, Ellie, and the girls, talking for quite a while. He even had a hard time grasping some of the things that went down, his mind reeled at the thought of it. Whatever happened, it was a night of firsts, in a veritable week of firsts. Today he was getting ready to go to his first kiki.

When Ellie had first called him, asking him if he wanted to come, Alex had jumped at the offer. He needed something to do tonight anyway, Lucy was off doing whatever Lucy's did in the evening. Alex was ready to go out and have fun with his friends for a change. Besides, he had a few short stories he could offer up as well, like his encounter with the cute new boy in the pool, who had caused him to almost drown after surprising him during a relaxing floatation session.

Taking a deep breath, the teen stood up from his bed and grabbed his backpack. He himself was dressed in a plain grey t-shirt, and navy blue fleece pajama pants that may or may not belong to Rowan Booker. A smile crossed his face as he checked himself out in the mirror, he looked very much so ready for a kiki. With that thought in mind, he headed out the door. The walk to Ellie's room was a short one, and he already noticed someone else standing outside her door. She said something funny about treats and the little instrument he was holding. The boy gave her a small nod and fell in right next to her. "She also brought Alex!" He called, as if certain that was enough to allow them entrance.

Ellie was still a newb to this whole Kiki thing. The last one was only three people, nothing near what it should have been so she was really happy that there were more people to invite this time around. Callie of course in all her Kiki Queen glory. Sammy, a good friend of Callie's and someone that Ellie truly didn't have any qualms with. And then there was Olivia, a newer friend of hers, but still definitely someone that she enjoyed hanging out with (because she needed all the girl friends that she could get). And then there was the token gay boy that always hung out with the girls, though that was stereotyping a bit and Alex wasn't all that much of a stereotype. She was actually really interested to see what he had to discuss and if she'd know any of the boys mentioned. Ellie was out of the loop with a lot of them because she didn't keep track of names and faces of boys all that often.

Just as she was double-checking everything (texting Adrianna nonstop to make sure that she had all of the right supplies for such an event), she heard a knock at the door and two voices coming from behind it. Olivia and Alex were there! Elisia slid across the kitchenette floor in her footie pajamas and skipped up to the door with a bright smile to greet her friends. "Chocolate, Ukulele and Alex all accounted for! C'mon in you guys, you're the first ones here. If you have snacks drop 'em in the kitchen and everything is set up in the common room. Thankfully Phoenix is out for the night." Because she had no desire to hear him and Oriel in the other room when she had guests.

"Callie and Sammy should be here soon, but 'til then can I get you guys anything?" Hostess lessons from her former roommate and big sister figure. Oh and she almost forgot because once you were friends with Ellie, it was inevitable. She first threw her arms around Olivia in a tight hug and once she was done with that she did the same to Alex. "I'm reeeally excited for tonight, have you guys ever been to a Kiki before?" She asked with a bright light to her eyes.

As soon as the door had opened, Alex let out a small surprised laugh. Elisia was all dressed up in a pair of the cutest footie pajamas he had ever seen. She had the same light in her eye that every kid did when they were pretty sure they had caught Santa Clause, or when they had some interesting things to say. He sort of guessed that he had a few things to get off his chest. Girls were more on his own level then guys had ever been, and he found himself hanging around them more than guys. A lot of guys here were either date-able, or really confrontational, so he was on his toes with half and subtly trying to avoid the others. It really was an interesting game with him.

Elisia let them in with a small joke and greeting of her own and told them that the other guests would be around soon. Being Elisia's friend, it was only inevitable to hear at least a small amount of the stories coming from her dorm. Her room mate sounded like a bit much, and he felt a bit sorry for her. His own room mate had been dealing with her own specific issues, the other, he hadn't even really even talked to him much at all. In hindsight, he probably should have at least asked Lucy to come along, but she was Rowan's thread, and he wasn't really sure if he felt comfortable brining up that topic with her around.

When Elisia wrapped her arms around Alex, he quickly hugged her back. Hugs were nice, especially between friends, and Alex found himself smiling again. As son as she let go of him, Alex made his way to the kitchenette, and unloaded all of his snackage onto the table, grabbing his personal bag of sour candy, because there was just some things he couldn't share.  "I'm excited too, and no I haven't haha. I actually had to look it up when you texted me." His grey eyes glanced around the room, taking all the stuff in, in an attempt to spot out any antiques or old looking bobbles sitting around.

[Calliope Gallo]

Callie interlocked her fingers with Sammy's as they walked. She liked Elisia, and while she knew the girl didn't know her friend Sammy very well, she was sure they would end up getting along really well. Last time she'd been to one of these with Ellie, they ended up talking a lot about guys. Callie's situation hadn't really changed; save for the fact that her feelings towards Lucah had grown even more. She wasn't sure what else she could really talk about.

Well, she was. But everything else almost wasn't worth mentioning to a crowd like this.

At any rate, she was excited to meet the other people Ellie had invited. Ellie had briefly told her their names, but she couldn't say she really knew either of them. Oh well, that didn't matter! She was dressed in the usual jammies; short shorts and a UVM sweat shirt with her hair tied up in a ponytail. She turned to glance over her shoulder at her friend. "Hey, just think! You can finally tell me about your crush tonight. Total safe space, and all that." She added a smile, though it felt a little forced. At least she really was interested to know who'd caught Sammy's attention.

The door was already open thankfully, so Callie knocked once or twice on the door frame before walking on in with Sammy in tow. "Hellooo~" She sung out, raising her free hand and waving quickly at Ellie. She took a quick look around at Alex and Olivia and offering a smile.

Trying hard not to think too much about the fingers curling through hers, Sammy followed Callie through the halls in her old light pink baby doll dress and pajama bottoms, completed with cow-print fuzzy slippers.

Sammy wasn't entirely sure what a kiki was but she figured if Callie was excited about it, she was also going to be excited about it. Besides, there were going to be other girls there and Sammy wasn't all too shy about making friends, was she?

When Callie spoke up, Sammy's heartbeat sped a little before a nervous giggle broke out of the shorter-haired blonde. "I...yeah...sure." Sammy tried to act natural, hoping that Callie wouldn't catch up on it.

Reaching the dorm, the only familiar face she found was Ellie's so she waved at her and then noticed there was a boy in the midst. "Um...I thought this was a girl's night only thing." She whispered, turning her whole body into Callie's.

Liv laughed when Alex added to her little knock knock yell and returned Elisia's hug just as tight once she was inside. It was one of her favorite things about the girl, that when she hugged for some reason it felt like you were so massively important in that moment and just felt good! She loved people with good vibes! Perfect!

Once inside she set down the ukelele and the snacks before hopping onto one of the beds, smoothing out her nightgown. She waved at everyone who came in, giving them a smile. She couldn't wipe the damn smile off her face if she tried, she was so blissfully excited for the kiki... whatever a kiki really is. "So... I don't want to sound dumb but... what exactly happens at a kiki?" She asked popping a hershey's kiss into her mouth. "I know the no boys thing but..." She wasn't entirely sure what else. Were they going to pillow fight and do makeovers? Gossip? Was there some kind of ritual. She really wished someone brought wine. That would take the edge off.

Elisia laughed with Alex, "Don't worry, I totally had to do that too the last time I went to one. I'm still no expert on the subject." She wasn't sure if she could every be as experienced in the art of a Kiki as Fer and Callie were. The two of them had just known it all and she was amazed by how much fun she had just learning what went into a good Kiki. She hoped she had everything, snacks, music, all of it was very important for this kind of get together.

When Callie and Sammy both entered, Ellie smiled wider and she practically attacked Callie with hugs because the girl was her best girl friend by far. No one really came close, except perhaps Lux, but even they still had to learn about each other. After releasing the blonde, she turned to Sammy and offered her a slightly embarrassed smile, "Glad you guys could make it! Wouldn't be the same without you, Callie." She bit her lip and fiddled with her footy pajamas a bit.

Sammy's question caused her to frown slightly and she looked at Alex, "Oh, uhm, well there is a rule about no boys, but the first Kiki I attended was with my friend Fer and I figured if the boy likes boys, well, uhm it kind of excluded them from the rule, right?" She was flustered now and completely unsure of herself. She didn't want Alex to leave especially because she really enjoyed talking to him and hanging out with him. He was a very nice guy and she wanted to know if there were any boys that had caught his eye.

When Olivia started talking, she tried to relax and continued chewing on her lip, "Well, I can't really describe it. Callie you know better than I do, what does a true Kiki entail?" She asked nervously, fidgeting.
