General Appearance: Temperance and Charity are very slimly built, somewhat tall for their age(5'6"), and of a slight weight(115lbs).  Their porcelain skin is as flawless as an adolescent so young should have, however Charity does have a small mole on her left cheek which is probably the only way one could distinguish the two as they are otherwise visually identical.  Their hair is brown and thin, however easily tangled, making it hard to manage.  Their brown eyes are nothing special but are very universal in their color, being neither dark nor light in hue, and as such are surprisingly captivating. 

Temperance and Charity are the kind of twins that like to go out of their way to dress alike or to coordinate their outfits with each other.  Often times, their styles will be exactly the same, differing only in their color scheme, with Temperance often wearing warm colors such as Orange, while Charity will wear cool colors such as blue.  However, in an effort to keep people guessing, they will sometimes deliberately switch styles and clothing, because that's more amusing than simply wearing the exact same thing.  As for their style, they like to keep it girly, wearing skirts that are cut short, and tops that bring out their barely developing figures. 

Personality: Temperance and Charity can easily be described as, well, a terror.  They are smart-mouthed little bullies who have extremely huge entitled egos.  If they see an opening, any sort of weakness in a person, they will attack it without restraint, bantering it back and forth between themselves as they flank their victims from both sides.  However, they do this not because they wish to feel better about themselves, or they get some sort of pleasure out of terrorizing people.  They're just bored.  These girl, with all the things they could be doing, get bored rather easily and often move on from one thing to the next.  And one of those things is snapping insults at people.

While it often seems that Temperance and Charity are very well in sync with each other, they are far from.  They pride themselves very much on being individuals who happen to be alike.  As such, they are having a hard time dealing with this whole two-people-becoming-one transition from being newly manifested Gestalts.  This is also why they frequently banter and fight back and forth with each other, being both each other's best friend and worst enemy.  

As individuals, their personalities are actually very different. Temperance is very sharp and straightforward in her words and can be really testy when she feels offended or insulted.  She is quick to snap and is often the one who picks their bullying targets.  She is also the more talkative one and is often the first one of them to speak in conversation.  

Charity might actually be classified as kind and quiet, though she might actually simply be more cunning and manipulative.  If one catches her by herself, she will be quite gracious to them while mentally planning how to get the better of them once she rejoins with her twin.  Is is this sneaky, backstabbing nature of hers that Temperance both envies and detests.  On the other hand, Charity envies her sister's dominance and ability to always speak her mind.

History

Harry is the younger brother to James Seabrooke by about 7 years.  So by the time James and Minhee married and had their son Oliver, Harry was only barley out of high school and was only just coming to terms with his sexuality.  However it wasn't until he had almost finished his University studies that he met Dick Allan Quinn. After five years of sweat and tears, and many many struggles, Dick and Harry were finally joined into a Civil Partnership in Wales.  About a year later, they adopted a pair of twins, naming them Temperance and Charity. 

Harry managed to land a very stable job while Dick pursued his love of the arts, being only somewhat successful.  However, between them, they were able to raise their daughters reasonably well, with a fair amount of financial security and attention.  Maybe just a little too much attention, because the two of them doted on the twins shamelessly, not even being bothered that the twins would trick them so often by switching places and then not being able to tell which was which.  Being mistaken for one another so often, even by their own parents, was probably one of the reasons why Temperance and Charity started having conflicting identity issues.  They liked being twins and tricking people, but hated being confused for the other one so often, especially by people who ought to know better. 

This rivalry between Temperance and Charity only grew worse when they developed a crush on the same boy when they were 12 years old.   They agreed to never make a move on him since it wouldn't be fair to the other.  Unfortunately, Charity decided to be a little backstabber and called the boy out pretending to be Temperance.  When he agreed to go out with her, she kissed him then revealed that she was really Charity.  He said still didn't mind going out with her, which made her realize what jerk he was, since it obviously didn't matter to him which twin he got, he saw them both as the same.  Consequently, she punched him in the face and dumped him.  Charity didn't bother telling Temperance about the encounter but rumors spread fast when your that young.  Temperance confronted Charity about it and Charity lied to smooth things over.  It wasn't until they manifested that Temperance found out what really happened.

In the late summer of 2013, Temperance and Charity manifested rather explosively, when they were suddenly in each others head and finding out about all the wrongs they had done to each other, causing them to duke it out(rather unsuccessfully) in their shared bedroom.  Dick and Harry both came to investigate and after hearing the confusing mess of dialogue between them, realized that they were meta.  Since Harry's nephew, Oliver, had manifested several years ago, the couple already knew about Kocher and so made arrangements with a recruiter for the twins to board there.  However, the twins were bored.  They didn't want to go there, so far away from their parents, and argued that if they were going to be far away, then they may as well go overseas.  After all, if they went to Hammel, then they would at least have their cousin Oliver there to look after them.  And so, in the late fall of 2013, Temperance and Charity transferred to the Hammel Institute.
