It was the weekend, which meant they had a later curfew and all that. That didn't change the fact that they did, indeed, have a curfew, but so long as he stayed on campus, it wasn't a big deal, right? It was one of those things that he was sure, if he got caught, he'd be told to go back to his room. If he was spotted, he might even get escorted. But until then, ( and so far, he'd been pretty okay with the not-getting-caught thing ) he could more or less relax and do what he needed to do. He just didn't feel comfortable in his room, and that didn't feel like it was going to change any time soon.
So Benny was stretched out, comfortably, against the wall outside the student lounge. Yes, he could probably go in there and maybe sleep on the pool table or something, but... for now, he was okay with just sitting, with one headphone in his ear, blaring music at decibels usually reserved for live concerts. It didn't bother him much - he wasn't doing any strenuous thinking, or heaven forbid... homework. He was actually more or less dozing, with his head against the wall, his legs stretched as far as they would go, and his hands buried in the pockets of his starting-to-wear-out red hoodie.
Hrm. He'd have to get a new one soon, though this one was important to him.
Freaking Kodi. Freaking Oriel. Just... freaking. He wasn't even paying enough attention to hear the footsteps in the hallway ( which was, of course, a really great way to get caught being out of his room after hours... ) as he just bobbed his head in time with the music. He was focusing on nothing in particular, more than a small dent in the wall opposite him.
It was late enough - he could probably sneak up to his room and get a few hours of shut-eye before he had to wake up. But he didn't want to. He didn't trust the door-lock on his door, and frankly, that was a pretty big reason not to sleep there. He didn't trust Kodi enough to risk it. Not yet.
"Okay. Ten more minutes. Then you can try and Solid-Snake your way in to the dorm." He murmured, mostly to himself.
