Elisia was so excited for the dance. Literally, she couldn't keep from smiling when she just thought about the silly costume idea her and Jack had. Barbie and Ken. A very attractive Ken and a very not-so confident Barbie at that. But she was going to try, Adrianna was helping her get ready and she was just going to have a good time with her...boyfriend(?) thing. Yup, it was going to be a good day and she was in a fantastic mood. Which led her to playing happy music.
She practically skipped down to the band room from her dorm, guitar strapped to her back. Her roommate had been in the room when she left and she was preeettyyy sure she didn't want to be there much if he was. That roommate of hers was a handful she was sure, but she never really talked to him or any of the people he brought back to their dorm. In a way it reminded her of what she knew of Carter, but then, she knew he wasn't Cart. Carter was a sweet guy beneath all of the hooking up and she had hope that he would eventually find someone he actually liked.
With her mind on her friend, she entered the band room and skipped up to a chair and sat down. Ellie pulled her guitar around, tuning it quickly. She was trying to figure out what oh what she wanted to play. She was in such a good mood, really quite happy with herself. And with the way things were going. But what song fit what she felt? Oh heck, she didn't care much anyway, she just wanted to sing.
With her guitar finely tuned, she set off into the song Royals by Lorde, singing along as she played it acoustically. Man, this song made her feel confident!
