Disturbance (Dawn & Michael)

The green snake bent her head down and slithered through the grass. Her long body trailing behind her. People lifted up their feet in surprise, some of them bending down to pet the pretty scaly animal. Asher lifted her head up to stare into the eyes of a young child, her mother behind her frozen in fear. Pythons got up to ten feet at the most, she was at least eight of massive muscle. Raising her narrow face towards the small child, she giggled and reached to pet the snake. “Katherine! What do you think you’re doing?” her mother cried, gaining her ground again and pulling her away from Ash. She flicked her tongue out in annoyance and turned away.


The sun glinted off the lake, hurting her eyes. Ash averted her head from the water and went to find a warm place to curl up and possibly fall asleep. It was best to be in snake form and sunbathe without getting the cancer or burning her pale skin. Near the lake was a shady spot for her to curl up in. Dragging her long body gracefully (the only time she’s graceful) she curled up into a tight ball and closed her eyes, the sun glinting off her scales. Asher could hear some screams of surprise, but she ignored it. They were only people…who would mess with a snake anyway?

Dawn hummed in happiness as she heard the screams. Finally there was drama in this school! Don't get her wrong, she didn't like bullying people or hurting them, but this scream sounded far different than a bully hurting someone. Dawn sighed with a giggle and walked toward the screams in silence. People stared at her like she was a weirdo as she looked at the snake with a huge smile on her face. It seemed to be trying to communicate with them.

Dawn watched as the snake slithered off near a tree and out of dangerous curiosity she followed the snake. People were telling her to stop, you will get hurt and even sent to the hospital. She smirked at their hilariousness and kept walking. She was still new here so people didn't know about her gift yet and how she liked dangerous things.

Dawn snuck beside the snake and climbed up the tree before smiling down at the snake. "You are very pretty. Ignore the morons, they don't know a beautiful person when they see it...morons." She hoped they knew she was NOT giving them chocolate! She wasn't going to give them any anyway...morons. She smiled once again. "Why am I talkin' to a snake, can it even hear what I am sayin'?"
