The BasicsName: Eleanor Ingrid Graves
Nicknames: Nora, Graveyard (but you better not call her that, or she'll probably hit you)
Age: 16
Orientation: Bisexual
Desired Rank/Job: Student
Powers: Lie Detection -- The user can sense when they are being lied to.
Limitations: The power can be subconsciously blocked when around people they trust, can only detect lies someone verbalizes. (If they say 'I didn't cheat on my girlfriend' and they did, Nora would know they were lying). But if someone thinks what they are saying is true (unintentionally telling a lie), Nora cannot see the difference.
Side-Effects: Headaches, eye contact makes her uncomfortable/anxious and can contribute to the headaches she gets.
Play By: Stefania OwenThe DetailsHair Color: Naturally a dull brown, but she often adds a lot of color to it, including darker shades and reds.
Eye Color: Blue
Any Piercings? A tiny stud in her nose.
Any Tattoos? No.
Any Scars? A faded long scar on her knee from when she fell off of her bike years ago.
General Appearance: Nora appears to be fragile, not even making it to five feet tall and weighing in at 100 pounds exactly, although she doesn't view herself as fragile. Her hair is a wild mess that she embraces and colors often with reds and darker browns to liven up the dull brown color and she has icy blue eyes which are always framed with too much eyeliner according to her peers and her mother, but she likes it that way. It contrasts her pale skin and her too many freckles. Despite the weather, she usually wears a lot of black and long sleeved shirts, usually of bands along with dark jeans and boots that are falling apart or converse sneakers and she often wears hats. Her style can be described as grunge.
Personality: Her family thinks it's just a stage, but Nora is quite rebellious. She dresses and acts the part. She's not particularly keen on authority or any sort of confinement and she'll promptly tell you to shut up or some other choice words if you say anything that remotely annoys or offends her, although she won't hesitate to run her mouth and offend you. She's kind of a hypocrite that way.
She's not used to having close relationships with others and she's not sure she wants to because she'll most likely ruin it quickly. She's afraid to get close to others and would rather push them away and make them dislike her than try to maintain a relationship that she knows she'll screw up in the future. She's snarky and practically impossible to get along with, unless you somehow actually appeal to her which would involve not being a mindless human drone in her opinion. She's mostly known for having casual relationships with those she goes to parties with or ends up in detention with. And she wouldn't even call them friends, she keeps them at a distance. Things are just easier when you're on your own. That's how she's always viewed it. There's no one close enough to judge her actions and she likes it that way.
Although she pushes people away and has walls up that she's very cautious about taking down, Nora really does want people around her that she can trust (it's just hard when you can see through their lies all the time). She has a really bad view of humanity and maybe she just needs some people that will give her hope for humanity yet. She just wants someone to prove to her that not everyone sucks. She doesn't like being negative--but honestly, that's just how she sees the world and she's not sure what will change it.Your VicesLikes: loud music, eyeliner, coloring her hair, piercings, parties, softball
Dislikes: her name, fake personalities, small talk

Any Other Important People: n/aHistoryNora grew up in the suburbs of New York as an only child with her mother and her father. She always had problems getting along with others in the neighborhood and at school and her mother was constantly trying to get her to be more lady-like, even if it never worked. As she grew up, her parents spent a lot of time arguing and Nora often left to sit in the old dug-out at a baseball field at a nearby park. She didn't think her parents ever noticed. She got involved with a few neighborhood boys and they played baseball all the time at that park. She finally felt as if she belonged somewhere, as the boys seemed to appreciate her at the young age of twelve and consider her an equal in regards to sports. She liked being one of the boys.
After nearly two years of this, one of the boys (who was sixteen at the time), expressed interest in her and wanting the attention, she accepted it but quickly learned his intentions weren't good when he brought her under the bleachers at the dugout. He didn't listen to her when she told him no and that was the last time she ever went back to that park.
She hasn't felt close enough to anybody to really tell them about what happened to her as she's almost afraid that it will be seen as her fault and she has a feeling that he would make it seem like she asked for it. This has caused her a lot of inner turmoil as it's made her question what people think of her (that she's desperate to be considered a 'girl' so she'll do anything with them, or that she can be easily taken advantage of). She's made sure to keep her walls up since she let those boys in, but it's something that expels a lot of energy out of her and at the end of the day, all she wants to do is blast the music in her headphones and cry, but she'd never let on that she did that.
A few months later, her manifestation occurred and she started recognizing when people around her were telling lies--no matter how small or big, then she was brought to Hammel.Roleplay Examplesee amanda joy lane, thomas monroe montgomery, etc. What About You?Name: Sydnee
