George Washington Rode a Velociraptor Once (open)

Every couple months Annie found herself wanting to take another stab at that harvard dream that her father had for her as a kid. Growing up, her and Nessa both wore Harvard sweaters, and got Harvard christmas tree ornaments for Christmas. Nessa was well on her way, she was at the top of her class, and did well on her SATs. Annie however, was just skimming by, as usual. But it wasn't her fault. She was just so easily distracted and books had simply never been her strong suit. But today she would change it. Today she was going to start the rest of her life as an academic.

So up she went, to the second floor of the library. Into a quiet corner with a stack of books all on the Revolution. She could see herself as a historian, or possibly someone who worked at the museum giving tours. She was positive that her versions of historical events would be popular and maybe she could even work around the dinosaurs! Wouldn't that be something! Of course, dinosaurs weren't in the Revolution... but... that'd be something wouldn't it? Revolutionary dinosaurs! She jumped with excitement. She could see it now!

As her imagination wandered, more and more intensely down the rabbit hole the books began to spring to life, Walking around and chomping at other books, like velociraptors. And she couldn't say that she minded! It was one of the best things she'd done yet!

Within 15 minutes Annie was belting the Jurassic Park Theme while the park was largely recreated with large and small books. It was quite impressive.

Savvy didn't visit the library often. But when she did.... it was really only for school. Or maybe if she needed a moment away from her hectic household. Today, it was purely for class. She was supposed to pick some book to read over the winter break.

And she would've, too. Except that the library was far louder than she'd expected it to be.

It took Savvy about twenty full seconds of wide-eyed blinking in amazement before she began to giggle. It was slow at first, just a trickle, but then she caught sight of one of the books devouring another, and the trickle turned to a stream, turned to a river, turned to a full-on torrent of giggles. Her eyes were screwed up tight as she tried to cover her grin and hide her giggles, but that wasn't really working.

Asher walked into the library with the intention to check out a book of poetry. He ran up the stairs two at a time. Analyzing works of art was one of Asher's favorite past times so he was very fond of poetry. He had his sights set on an anthology that was recently delivered to Hammel. As he approached the poetry shelves, asher heard the iconic score of one of his favorite movies, Jurassic Park. Whoever was singing it was worth talking to. Asher was planning on only a small conversation with the person but once he saw the Jurassic Park made of books, he knew this conversation would go on for a while.

Before even acknowledging the existence of the girl, Asher wandered around the table she was working at and examined her creation. It was a mix of two of his favorite things: books and dinosaurs. "I don't believe I've met you before. My name's Asher and this is the coolest thing ever. So, what's your name?"
