Judah didn't mind the gym. Not at all. In fact, it was his favorite subject. He hated the regular subjects, like math and science. Especially math. Math became hard when the alphabet was added. Besides, it was incredibly boring. Gym was fun. He enjoyed it. He didn't have to sit sedentary for an entire period. That was it's perk. He didn't particularly like his classmates, but they served as good teammates when playing basketball, not that he favored basketball either. Aggressive players. Just how he liked them.
The timer buzzed and the gym was dismissed. Judah was satisfied with the last game play, despite the fact his team of six lost. They'd given it their all and the scores had ended up rather close. His hand wiped the sweat from his forehead as he entered the air conditioned locker room. Judah hated the heat, as it made him severely uncomfortable. The AC was a blessing. He walked farther into the lockers, keeping his head down as not to look like that one fool who watched people disrobe. He reached his locker, finding the Master Lock opened and on the bench, where he left it while changing before class. He shrugged his shoulders, opening the metal door. Nothing appeared to be stolen. All his books and papers were in order.
Judah yanked his uniform shirt over his head and tossed it into the top shelf, then pulled his sky blue button down shirt from the bottom shelf, quickly hooking the buttons and pushing the sleeves up. He felt around for his pants, black straight jeans, on that same bottom shelf.
No pants.
Fantastic.
The thief was about. Sure, it was his fault that he'd left his locker open. Why would somebody steal pants though? Judah turned his head from side to side. Already, most had managed to file out of this place. There were a few left, but before he was able to address them, two raced out, leaving one left. He pulled his backpack out and immediately shut his locker, making sure to put the lock on. He pivoted on his heels and faced the final soul in the entire room. Judah sighed gently and questioned, attempting to swallow his anger, "Did you see anybody take anything from this locker?"
