Two Bullies in the Lunchroom (Oriel)

Kodi didn't really have any reason to be angry today; therefore, he was only mildly irritated with the world.  He's just finished his thousandth hour of detention and had been released to go do what he wanted, which meant stalking to the cafeteria and gorging himself before going to crash in his room and maybe read a book or two.  Maybe later he'd go bother Erik or something.  Something to keep him from lashing out at random people.

He threw open the door to the cafeteria and rambled his way over to the food, grabbing whatever he saw that sounded good before finding an empty table to crash at.  A group of preppy giggling girls nearby looked at him over their shoulders and began some sort of whispered conversation that he was sure was about him.  Whatever.  He ignored them as he tore into a roll of bread, normal scowl in place.  If any of them dared look his way again, he'd show them some teeth.

So Oriel was finally out of his food rations, which meant....he was forced to go brave through the no doubt crowded lunchroom full of eyes and stares and shoulder bumps in order to get his meal for the evening. And once he finished, get another to take back to Phoenix. There was no way he would let that cripple brave it through this madness.

Oriel grumped into the cafeteria, hands stuffed in his pockets and a scowl on his face. He wasn't...really pissed to be there, just he'd gotten so used to putting on that face in the crowded public to keep people away that it was habit. Surprisingly...or not surprisingly, it actually worked better than it used to and he barely had to wait in line at all. Getting his food, which was actually better than he thought it'd be, Oriel scanned the room for an empty seat...and found one at a table still mostly occupied.

He sighed and with another grump, stalked over to it and glanced over the people sitting there. His eyes narrowed as he thought of what to say. Before he could blink again, however, the table suddenly cleared itself and he was left alone. A little flabbergasted, Oriel sat down and mumbled, "Check that out. Beat the shit out of two asses, suddenly I can clear a room with a glare. Good job Oriel." He wasn't sure how he should feel about that though.

Kodi had started ripping into a chicken leg when a sudden flurry of movement caught his attention from a few tables away. He chewed thoughtfully as he watched a table clear quickly and without clear reason, until he saw the lone occupant standing there. He snickered to himself then, watching Oriel sit by himself, before making a rash decision to stand and go over there himself.

"Damn, even I can't do that," he drawled as he got close, sliding his plate onto the table as he flopped down beside the other boy. "Word musta really got out that ya like t'beat people." He began tearing into his food again, speaking around mouthfuls. "Where's yer little t- boyfriend, eh? Is he capable of survivin' without you for more than five minutes?" Kodi still was miffed about the whole Oriel-being-attached to someone thing; otherwise he was sure the other boy would be more than happy to go a couple rounds with him. He was still hopeful, but that meant getting on Phen's good side... Which Kodi didn't know if he was even capable of doing.

This was just perfect. Oriel didn't have to sit with anyone and he could just ride it out...and stand out to the whole fucking lunchroom who were probably staring and pointing and whispering random things about him. He could have sworn there he even heard something about how he broke his own boyfriend's leg. And another...what? Something about Tak and the baby? Shit, what the hell did they think this was, a fucking soap opera?

Oriel scowled and dug into his meat like the carnivore he was. He looked up, though, when someone dared to sit across from him...and speak to him.

Fucking Kodi.

His chomping mouth managed to quirk upwards into something a little sinful. "Yeah. Fuckers should watch where they stick them shit noses of theirs, I might just snap 'em off." Oriel chowed down another mouthful of something, might've been potatoes. "You hear the one that says I popped that McCarthy dork in my own kitchen? Losers don't know what the fuck they're talking 'bout." As for Phoenix, "He'll be fine, I left the TV on."

Kodi's eyes only left Oriel's face when he looked down to snag his fork and pin it into whatever was closest, slipping into his sharp-toothed mouth as he listened to the other boy speak. He let out a sort of guttural chortle. "No kiddin'. How many people have you beat half t'death now? At least a dozen, by the sound of the rumors." He only knew of himself and Erik, though he had heard that a lot of people thought Oriel had hurt his own boyfriend. Kodi had seen enough to know that wouldn't happen, though. "Prob'ly heard 'bout that one. I dunno, there's too many now."

He picked up another roll and ripped off a piece, his teeth getting sharper the longer he ate. Kodi let out another half-laugh at the reply about Phoenix. "An' here I thought you two were inseperable," he growled. He leaned over the table, kohl-lines eyes jeering and intense. "I'm gonna getchu back for that kiss, fucker," he drawled. "An' I ain't gonna take it out on yer twiggy boy this time." He leaned back again, switching to chew rather delicately on a carrot. "'Course, it'd be easier if y'just gave in an' fucked me already. Y'know it's gonna happen eventually."

Oriel looked up into his memory, using his tongue to carve the food out of his molars as he did so. "Think....3? 4? And depends on what you mean by 'half-to-death'. One of 'em I barely tapped and he fell over. And the other...well he won." Oriel wasn't going to go into the details of his fights. But apparently they'd been enough to give him a more imaginative reputation, given some of the rumors that were flying about. And knowing one of his so-called 'victims', the ass-monkey was probably perpetuating the rumors just to fuck with him.

"We ain't conjoined twins or nothing." Though it was true that they were both pretty attached and clingy with one another. Oriel was trying not to be, but it was hard. He kept worrying that Phoenix would try to do something stupid with that lame leg of his. "Good, 'cause them repercussions double with the second offense," he warned with a snark. His eyes were watching those sharpened teeth trying to tear into that carrot. He refrained from making the obvious joke there. Oriel's lips curled up into a twisted grin, bearing his own teeth that, while not razor sharp, still invoked a demonic aura from the boy. "But watching you squirm with anticipation is far too entertaining to give in so soon."

"Huh," Kodi grunted, staring up at Oriel again. "So's far as that goes, seems like me an' Erik have been yer most.... Damaged 'victims'." He mulled this over. "You really landed some good hits on Freckles," he snickered. "I got t'take care'a some'a those myself." He hadn't been necessarily hurt to see Erik all bruised up, but it had ticked him off. And it had given him an opportunity to actually be kind of nice to the other southerner, so that had been... Interesting. "I heard yer the one that got that slutty Indian chick pregnant too," he added, taking a big gulp of water. "I ain't believe that shit, though." That could have been anyone, really, as far as he was concerned.

"Y'sure 'bout that?" he chuckled, wiping at his mouth. "Coulda fooled me." Nope, he wasn't jealous of their relationship, nope nope. Stupid boys and their stupid... Argh. "What, you'd kill me dead this time?" he drawled, his expression going a little dark. He laughed a moment later and shrugged it off. At the taunt, though, along with that grin, Kodi narrowed his eyes and sneered. "You an' I both know you want it as bad as I do," he growled. "Yer just stuck with yer toothpick of a boyfriend." Neither of them could deny the chemistry they had. He tore off another piece of bread. "Ain't you tired of that scrawny ass yet? Actually..." His grin got wicked. "Have you guys even been able t'fuck recently? Between yer trip t'the hospital an' his... Broken fairy wings an' shit, y'hardly have enough working limbs between you."

"Think of it this way. The extent of my feelings're measured by the weight of my fist." He stuffed his cheeks again then held up his fist while he munched. "....I will punch the heart right out of you." Though it was true, only someone he felt some sort of connection with, whether it was rivalry or friendship, could evoke such an intense response as beating them black and blue. Though what he exactly felt for Kodi he hadn't yet determined. Oriel just knew he didn't hate him. "Is that what they're saying!?" Oriel laughed out, holding his hand over his mouth to keep the masticated meat from falling out.

"Yah," he replied with feigned nonchalance. No way was he going to let Kodi see him get all girly momma-hen worried over leaving Phoenix by himself.

Oriel was intent on ignoring Kodi's taunts, his verbal parades, pathetically trying to egg Oriel into giving in to his animalistic urges. Kodi was right on the money though. Where Kodi was concerned, Oriel wanted nothing more than to force this slanty-eyed hick to his knees, mash his face into the floor, and fuck him silly. Even more right, Oriel and Phoenix hadn't had sex - hadn't had real sex, not just fooling around with each other's bits - since Oriel had sprained his wrist. After that, it had been the snake bite. After that, it had been Phoenix's leg. By this point, Oriel was so sexually frustrated that if he and Kodi went at it, he didn't care who fucked who, so long at it got done and felt good.

Oriel's twisted grin didn't waver...much. "We manage. There's more than one way for us to get our fucking rocks off."

"So what, y'punch yer love into people, s'that it?" Kodi snickered. "No wonder people think ya beat up yer p- boyfriend." He laughed louder at Oriel's next statement. "You say that like I have a heart," he growled, stabbing down and tearing into whatever he pinned on his fork. He liked to think of himself as heartless, even if he knew it wasn't entirely true. It was just... Hidden behind a huge wall of self-hatred, insecurity, and anger at the world. Kodi did raise a brow, though, at Oriel's response about the father rumors. "Yeah, dunno how those started spreadin'. God have mercy on us all if y'ever actually procreate." He knew next to nothing about Tak, but what he'd heard about her made him dislike her enough.

He was unimpressed with Oriel's answer to his question, and curled one of his lips up into a sneer. "That'll only getcha so much satisfaction," he growled, finishing up some of the last food on his plate. "An' he's stuck in a cast for how long? 'Least a month or two. Yer gonna go apeshit before then." Kodi just wanted to see who would actually come out on top if the two of them went at it. Sure, Oriel had beat him up before, but he hadn't been expecting such ferocity from him and had been unprepared. He thought he stood a fair chance of mounting Oriel, given a chance.

Kodi threw his fork on the table, licking at his lips as he finished his meal. "Ain't I heard you two got an 'open-door policy' or some shit? So, what, does that not include people that have bit yer pet or somethin'?" He didn't want to seem desperate, so he spoke dully and with heavy-lidded eyes, but he really was curious.

"Damn straight. If you ever manage to coax even a sliver of 'like' out of him, ask Phoenix. He'll tell you how much I abuse him." Though there had really only been a couple of times where Oriel had let himself get out of control crazy in the bedroom. And he loved Phoenix all the more for letting him do it. "'Course you don't have a heart, I already punched it out of you!" Oriel slapped the table with his palm, a winning smile dimpling up his cheeks. He shook his head. "No arguments there." And that was all he was going to say on the matter. Oriel had no intention of reproducing, especially when he was so fucked up himself.

Oriel's face continued to drop as he failed to dismiss Kodi's accurate descriptions of his sex life, or rather lack thereof. He was right, Oriel was going to go crazy if things went on like this much longer. He was already just a hair short of grabbing Kodi right now and dragging him to a nearby closet. But he wouldn't, not without…. "If you want in, then you got to get Phoenix to agree. If he don't like you, then it ain't happening." Oriel tapped his fork against the table, clearly agitated by this fact. He glared up at Kodi, his features hard and unyielding. "I'd sooner go blue-balled than fuck you without the green light from Phen."

"Still hard for me to believe y'ain't broke him yet," Kodi grumbled, picking at his teeth. He could only imagine the sort of stuff Oriel did in the bedroom; he practically drooled just thinking about it. All the abuse and torment... Kodi's biggest turn-ons. Yeah, he was a freak, and he knew it. Whatever. He snorted at Oriel's grin, rolling his eyes and putting his hand up to his chest. "That explains everything," he drawled. "I should ask you t'punch it back in, then I might give a fuck 'bout things other than fuckin' and bitin'." He wasn't sure when he'd completely changed from an obedient little kiss-ass to what he was today, but some part of him wished he could find a balance between the two. It was all a defense, really. Well, a good part of it, at least.

He gave a smug little grin at the look on Oriel's face, knowing he was hitting a sore spot. His scowl returned, though, and he rolled his eyes at the mention of getting the okay from his boyfriend. "I don't think I could get that tw- guy t'like me if I begged on my knees," he growled. Not that he'd ever do that anyway. "He don't seem the type t'let go of grudges easily." Snarling, he grabbed his plate and stood, staring down at Oriel. "I bet if I gotchu alone an' started messin' with ya, you wouldn't be able t'say no so easily." Of that, he was quite certain. No amount of attachment could keep Oriel from giving into desire when it was straddling over him, right?

Honestly, it was hard for Oriel to believe that too. Oriel had gone out of his way from the very beginning to take it easy on Phoenix, he was such a fragile thing. He took extra care at the end of everything just to make sure there wasn't any lasting damage. Oriel was unsure if either Phoenix or Kodi understood the importance of after-care. But that was probably what furthered the connection between the two boys. What made Phoenix worm his way into Oriel's own damaged heart.

Kodi's response to the heart comment elicited a laugh from the twisted boy. "Fuck no! That shit's rare and delicious, I'm saving it for a special occasion."

"You might if you begged on your knees." Oriel would normally just ask Phoenix himself, but considering that Kodi was the guy who attacked him...Oriel couldn't do it. He couldn't ask Phoenix to be Ok with it. Even worse is Oriel knew himself well enough to know that Kodi was right. Get the two of them started and Oriel wasn't sure he'd be able to stop. Fuck this libido of his. He groaned as he released a long sigh then relaxed his head in one hand. "....I'll try asking. But if he says no," Oriel glanced up at Kodi. "Just...try to respect that, okay?"

Kodi definitely didn't know about after-care. He'd never had it, and he never gave it. He was uneducated in the ways of actually taking care of people after the fact; he just went in, hit hard, and left before anyone could get attached. It was easier that way, he told himself. Kept him from getting hurt in the long run. Erik was one of the few people he'd gone back to after just one or two times; now that boy could take a beating.

He growled again, though this time there was a little amusement in the noise. "You better," he grumbled.

At Oriel's response, though, he rolled his eyes and sneered. "Ain't doin' that," he huffed. Not even a fuck with Oriel was worth that much of his pride. He scuffed a foot on the floor, biting his lip as Oriel went on. "Yeah, well... Good luck with that," he grumbled. He had no faith that Phoenix would agree just if Oriel asked. But, then again, who knew? The pixie was awfully obedient and attached to his Dom, maybe Oriel would be able to do it. "Yeah, yeah, just lemme know if ya get anythin' outta yer talk," he mumbled. "I got other shit t'go do." He took a step away, then looked back over his shoulder. "We still got chem stuff t'finish, y'know," he mentioned, before shrugging a shoulder and turning away with a wave.
