PLAYER WANTS
What is your plotting philosophy?
This is case by case... generally i prefer to have very light plotting, more of a direction and then letting it play out during the threads. I see RP is writing improv and like to have a lot of room to have my characters grow. However, there are times where i prefer to have a little more of a set plan and this would be in the case of a delicate topic or when things affect multiple players. I don't really see it as a written in stone contract, but all those affected i feel should be kept in the loop as things change.
What types of plots are you interested in playing? Honestly i'm a dramatic person so i like kind of dramatic plots with lots of emotional fall out both happy and sad. What specifically, this is a difficult question because it's so broad and again, case by case.
What types of plots are you not interested in playing? things that are solely plotted around sex. I really find sex could be a great writing tool if it progresses a story line but sex for the sake of sex or crushes on PBs in my BIGGEST pet peeve. I really like to explore characters and stories and i won't stray from that goal. That's why I'm here.
How often can you reply to any given thread? This depends on my life. Sometimes i can replay 50 times a day, other times it's a couple times a week. I don't really know how to answer this....
What is the longest you're willing to wait for a reply to a thread? Unless the person i'm writing with has contacted me about irl things or muse things preventing them from posting (which happens to the best of us) i think about a week and a half is the longest. By 2 weeks I've generally lost interest and have assumed the other person has too.
Are you open to RPing over instant messengers? If so, what's the best way to contact you and what times are you generally available? Yeah and again... this is dependent on IRL circumstances but it'd be over skype or chatango. Aim and my computer do not get along.
Are you open to post volleying?
Yes.
Anything else?
I really don't know if these answers were helpful at all... most of them are case by case between players and characters. Even the plot thing, some players can handle certain plots with more mature or delicate situations better than others... it's so hard to answer solidly.
PLAYER LIMITS
What are you limits regarding powerplay/godmoding?
light "godmoding" i don't mind. They can grab my character, but if it's anything questionable or putting words in my characters mouth or full out actions into my characters bodies i prefer to be asked first. I've never said no once asked, but i have gotten irritated by not asking before, though it isn't a deal breaker.
What are your limits in regards to romantic situations?
case by case... again. Generally, if things seem to go natually in a thread I'll do LIGHT shipping. I don't really like to lock most of my characters into situations. However, i have some characters that it totally makes sense for in which case totally ship away. Case by case. This is also dependent on the other player, I tend to want to release ships if the other player isn't around consistently because that's kind of unfair.
What are your limits in regards to sex (within the TOS)?
If it progresses the story or character fine. If it's just there because of hot PBs not fine, annoying and it cheapens the storyline.
What are your limits in regards to violent scenes (within the TOS)?
see above answer for sex. I feel the same way.
What are your limits in regards to abuse/rape in plots?
See above.
Anything else?
Again, I find all these questions really case by case and don't know how to answer them without being wishy washy. I just feel that different players and different characters have different needs. I'm for interesting stories, progressing characters, and fun. I'm against anything that takes away that fun because at the end of the day this is a game.
