[Sawyer Lynn]

First day at a permanent-ish job and already Sawyer felt like a grown up.

Okay that was a lie. She felt more like a kid than she usually did, surrounded by buttons to press and switches to flip and dresses to look under. Yep. Definitely more than usual.

She'd met a few of the people who worked here. One leggy brunette in particular had caught her eye. Although, given how she interacted with that wide-eyed blonde, Sawyer dismissed it. Who was she to get in the way of true love? Plus, she wasn't dumb enough to ignore the tangible sexual tension either.

As her computer booted up, Sawyer kicked her feet up and admired her sound system. It wasn't the best she had seen but it had potential. She fiddled with some of them then and heard a yelp from somewhere near. "Whoops." She chuckled and looked around, not realising someone was already there. "Sorry! Not really." She chuckled again. "Did I scare ya?" She asked out loud.

It had been...what, a year? Two? that he'd been working at the House. Callie put in a good word for him, he auditioned and Cynthia fell in love. After all, who wouldn't? He was a heart-stopper and a damn good dancer. It was probably the best job he could have asked for with all of the sexy girls in tight clothing, and the hot guys in tighter clothing. God, it was Heaven.

Not to mention he worked with so many cool people. Callie was of course his favorite because she was his baby, but everyone just seemed to click. Oh, but that didn't mean there wasn't the stick in the mud. Callie's...problem child. Lucah whateverthefuckkov. Rowan wasn't a fan, but ya know, as soon as he figured out a way to shove her with someone better, he was going to. And then he'd promptly tell said Lucah Whateverthefuckkov to suck a big fat dick because he was an asshat.

Today was one of the rehearsal days that was scheduled throughout the week. After receiving his next number with a large group of girls (did he mention he loved his job) he worked on stretching out so that he was loose and ready for the ladies. He was curious to see what the sound would be like, since Cynthia went without a piano for this one - thank god - and instead hired someone to play with the techy stuff.

As he was stretching, he heard someone fiddling with the sounds and it made an interesting noise that made him jump and make a little noise. He was just glad that it wasn't loud enough for anybody to he- with a sigh he looked around to see the girl that was messing with him. Only to find...Sawyer? Standing up, he looked at her and narrowed his eyes, "Nope, startled would be the better word. So you're the new girl, eh? Man can't wait to see what skimpy outfits Cynthia finds for you. I might have to make a personal request to Roger." He smirked at her and tilted his head to the side to get a better view.

When the person finally appeared, Sawyer jumped a little in surprise when she recognised who it was. Damn, did everybody from Hammel work here?

"Booker!" She exclaimed lightly before snorting at his comment. "Wow, that wasn't sexist. But damn, you really do like anything with a pussy, don't you?" The brunette chuckled and got her foot off the side of the sound system.

"Need a better view?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. "Some manly yelp you have there, Booker. Training for the opera?"

"Sawyer, always a pleasure," He smiled and pulled his arm across his chest. As he pulled the other over, he shrugged. "Hey, all I'm saying is that with a body like that, I wouldn't mind seeing you in less clothing. It's a compliment, I promise. Some people, should really wear more clothing." Rowan pulled his arm over his head, his t-shirt pulling up a bit to show a strip of his stomach.

He smiled wider, "But yes, I reeeally do. I don't discriminate though, I like dick, too. All sex is created equally, unless it's really fucking bad sex. Like virgins." Rowan shuddered dramatically and switched arms again.

"I like my view perfectly from here, it's quite nice. And I'll have you know that my voice cracked because I screamed a bit too much last night," He shrugged. With his smirk returning to his lips he looked back up at her, "Whatcha workin' with, Lynn? Music obviously, but anything good? That's not boring ass piano shit?"

"I bet." Sawyer responded, giving him a once over. She wouldn't mind seeing him in less clothing either. And what the hell was that arm doing, being all sinewy? What a crime it was committing to her...well, everywhere. When the shirt rode up, Sawyer rolled her eyes in amusement. Of course the boy was in love with himself enough to be confident in doing that. Such a jerk, she thought to herself, smirking in amusement while enjoying the view.

But that mouth of his. Sure, Sawyer was by no means an angel when it came to her words but my God he was spewing some A grade bullshit. She supposed she could overlook that aspect of the guy. With a pretty face like that and a body that was obviously made for dancing, Sawyer could definitely try and tune out his talking. Definitely.

"Saw a spider, did you?" She smirked, still not letting him off the hook for his earlier yelp. She could have easily followed through with his poorly concealed innuendo but it was far better teasing him about something else entirely.

When asked about what she was doing, she immediately leaned forward and switched on her newest remix. "I've been messing around with some seriously sick beats that actually incorporate classical instruments. Check it." She pressed play and an orchestral build-up started before some house music started to play in the background. Sawyer pursed her lips and started nodding to the music.

Rowan appreciated her once over and was quite happy with the fact that he wasn't the only one that knew he was hot. Granted, he was kind of a tool with a loud mouth and didn't always say things that people liked, but hey, give him duct tape and there would be no more of that! Oh but then the hot accent would go away too. Oh well!

"No, spiders don't scare me," Snakes on the other hand..totally different story. Those things fucking slithered! He much rather have witty banter over an innuendo, those were more fun anyway. All of the sex jokes and inappropriateness, that was Rowan in a nutshell. He switched arms again and then shook them out after he was finished. Now that he was good and stretched, he was ready for action.

She turned on the music and he folded his arms across his chest as he listened. He wasn't usually a fan of classical music unless it had something that made it more modern. Like the song he'd choreographed for a duet for the school dance team. "Wow, that's pretty sweet. You mixed this then?" Because he definitely could see some awesome dancing coming out of it.

The manly dialogue made Sawyer roll her eyes in amusement. "Of course they don't. You manly man. Manly man no afraid anything." The voice mimic changed her voice to a gravelly one and flexed her arms.

When she started the music, she couldn't help sneaking in glances at Rowan to see if he liked it. And he did, so she grinned, a little smugly before kicking her foot up and crossing her arms. "Yeah. I could hook you up with some stuff. See if it gives you any ideas." She shrugged, playing with the leather bracelet tied around her arm.

"Maybe suggest to the higher ups to put it in a set or something."

"Damn straight, baby. Us guys have to be fearless to protect our women," And the weaker men, but that was beside the point. Her change of voice interested him, but he figured he'd comment on it later, when he didn't feel the need to defend his manhood. Silly girl thinking he could possibly be afraid of something. Yeah, right.

Rowan looked at her when he offered to give him some of her stuff, "That'd be epic. I could probably choreograph some killer shit to this. How much more you got? Anything more with violins?" For some reason, one of his favorite types of music to choreograph to was violin pieces. Lindsey Sterling type shit in particular.

"Hell yeah, I'll definitely have to talk to the boss about it. I'm sure they'd dig it for sure, something new. Can't necessarily go wrong there," He smiled at her genuinely, lacking all of the arrogance that was usually laced into every smirk.

Sawyer raised an incredulous eyebrow at Rowan's reply before snorting her own. "Yeah. Nothing sexist about that at all." She chuckled, running her fingers through her hair as she fiddled with her computer.

Nodding in agreement to his statement, at least, Sawyer went through her folder aptly named Classic Mixes to find a cover of a new song on the cello. Strings was her go to classical music as well. "This one, I poached off Youtube because why the hell not, yeah?" She shrugged and pressed play.

She responded to the smile equally genuinely. Music just brought out the nice part of her. And the more another person seemed enthusiastic about it as much if not more than her, the likelier she would gel with them. Not that she would ever admit to that with this arrogant ass.
