Winter break was over and Liv couldn't be any happier to return to class. She wasn't entirely sure what happened over break. it was a whirlwind of emotions and unexpected interactions leaving her feeling somewhat unlike herself, and yet more like herself than she'd ever felt before. One thing she'd managed to neglect however was her trusty friends the ukelele and her acoustic guitar, a pity considering it'd taken her quite some time to learn how to make them sound halfway decent and now it'd take her twice as long to get back to that point.
Gently, she wiped the dust off her ukelele deciding it'd be easier to start with less strings and made her way to the lounge as to not disturb her roommates as it was quite late in the evening already.
The lounge was empty, as it usually was at this time and Liv settled into one of the big plush couches indian style and began to gently strum.
A new song, she'd sing, she thought as she started to hum the tune she'd had whizzing around in her head for days, still without lyrics assigned.
Slowly the humming began to transform and before she knew it more several hours passed ands he was left with this.
She lightly strummed the ukelele letting out a sigh and finally putting it down, her fingers starting to become sore.

"A long time ago in a story so old
there was a beauty and a beast
or so i've been told
they were these two strangers
two lonely souls
but its not what you think, no
here's how it goes
lets start with the beast
he was ugly and scary
pathetic and pour
and horribly hairy
the outside was rough
but once he smiled
you could se that he had
a heart of golden sun
the beast loved a beauty
this pretty little thing
she was the fairest of them all
and she could dance
and she could sing
but unlike the beast
who's loved shined the best
she loved herself
never cared for the rest
one day the beast
found the beauty perfection
sitting by the lake
making love to her reflection
the beast had decided
that it was the time
to tell the pretty beauty
of his feelings inside
he stepped out from the shade
with a flower in hand
said "my lady the fairest in the land
i may not be a prince but my heart beats for you"
oh the beauty just laughed
so cold so crude
"you smelly old fat hairy pig"
she said "you thought i could love you
i'd rather be dead"
She laughed and she turned
and she danced to her home
Leaving the beast Heartbroken
and all alone
Well the beauty
lives all by herself still today
the Beast learned his lesson
and changed his ways
he learned that true beauty
can never be seen
and that things are most likely
not what they seam."
She lightly strummed the ukelele letting out a sigh and finally putting it down, her fingers starting to become sore.
