"Don't blame her," Sawyer snapped a little, though it wasn't out of spite. "It's nobody's fault." She reasoned. "Well, technically it's Michael and your mother's faults for wanting something you two clearly didn't want and..." the voice mimic stopped when she realised her voice was thinning at the end.
Clearing her throat, she looked back up at the two and sighed. "I'm not apologising for anything I may say or do during this time. Lemme tell you that." She laughed, a little manically.
The look that transpired between the Brit and the Australian was lost on Sawyer and she didn't attempt to decode it, leaving it to the couple. What she was worried about now was what she had to say to the crowd after all this was done. What in the hell was she supposed to say to Mrs. Blaise? She shuddered at the thought.
"You two are not getting out of this room." Sawyer held a hand up to Lucy, rolling her eyes at the tatted up meta's question. And then the hint to a question. She was deeply flattered but this wasn't exactly the time to think about anything else. "I'll get your things," she told Penelope before turning back to Lucy. "All your stuff is here ri- Wait..." Sawyer paused before realisation dawned on her once more. "You're...leaving immediately after the solemnisation." Her voice trailed, looking at both of them, a little desperate.
She just realised what this would mean to Rowan.
"Fuck, no. Not going to think about that. Just...you pack your things, I'll bring Pen's over. Just..." she paused again and took a deep breath before looking over her best friends again. "You're absolutely sure you want to do this?"
But before she heard the answer, Sawyer took her phone out from her cleavage and dialled Michael's number. "They're both getting ready, but they'll be a little late...no it's not going to hold anything up...bitch please stop your yapping...yes I know how important today...they'll be fucking ready Blaise! Just tell your mother not to worry and everything is going according to plan. Yeah yeah fine." She pressed on the end call button harder than she had to and picked up the bottom half of the dress.
"Hey, lock the door behind me, would ya?" She turned to the couple before peeking out to see if anybody was around. At the all clear, Sawyer slipped out.
