The Basics
Name: Sofia Rose
Nicknames: Fi Fi
Age: 16 (20th March, 1997)
Orientation: Unsure
Desired Rank/Job: Student
Powers: Super Strength - Sofia has the incredible ability to defy weight limitations of standard human strength and lift up to 1 ton of weight (1000 kg, 2204 lbs). Combined with the extreme stress this puts on her muscles and her lack of training in controlling the power, Sofia is easily susceptible to tearing ligaments, extreme muscles spasms and risks injury if she isn't careful with her actions. Stretching is paramount before she utilities this power and it requires a conscious level of focus not to exert too much force when completing mundane activities.

The Details
Hair Color: Pale blonde
Eye Color: Blue
Any Piercings? Ears
Any Tattoos? N/A
Any Scars? Callused knuckles, thin pink scar running down her shin from a childhood accident
General Appearance: Sofia stands at 5'5 and weighs 95 lbs, possessing a skinny, taut frame with slender limbs and skin as pale as ivory. What her physique lacks in any overly noteworthy curves it makes up for in litheness and a rough, tomboyish beauty. The girl is blessed with healthily proportioned A cups which sit atop a relatively noticeable ribcage of which merges into a lean stomach that plunges down her slender waist and legs. Although she has rather small and dainty hands they are callused from the years of fights and her improvised boxing. Due to the nature of her upbringing Sofia appeared generally malnourished for much of her childhood and as a result of that, her growth was stunted.
Whilst Sofia does have a very pretty face she doesn't do much to exemplify it's qualities. Her most prominent feature would be the plump lips, often chapped from her extensive lip biting but routinely made up with lipstick at the behest of her sister. Sofia's skin is not touched by any noticeable blemish and it is only on the rarest occasion will she submit to any proper skincare routine. She is not fussy with her hair, due to its length it is easily managed, but will keep it clean and washed daily.
Due to her upbringing, Sofia wore the clothes that she was given and it was only until she was thirteen did she create a discernable style for herself. The younger twin is drawn to the more simplistic blacks, whites and navy's; comfortably meshing the punk aesthetic with her own androgynous flair. Whilst she isn't overly fond of jewellery because it is more of a hindrance than anything else, she does have a soft spot for piercings and has littered her ears with them as a result.
Personality: Rash, stubborn, headstrong and loyal. What Sofia lacks in book smarts she makes up for with her hardened street knowledge and an unavoidable presence marked by a rough exterior and shameless outspokenness. Sofia has been shaped by the events of her childhood and as a result, maintains a gruff persona whilst in public. She is a confrontational individual when provoked and not the sort to take kindly to any form of neglect or abuse and as a result can easily hold vendettas against the ones who have either wronged her, her sister and their circle of friends. Sofia is equally fond of making herself known, having been ignored for the majority of her early years, and will not shy away from voicing her opinions, regardless of how offensive they may be.
However, this aggression and standoffish nature is but a well crafted mask to hide the deep insecurities and low self esteem birthed from a very distressing childhood. Sofia's worldview forces her to cater to the needs of Ivy and herself, attempting to survive day to day and making the most of what she has. Coupled with her dyslexia, the youngest twin's deeply rooted sense of inadequacy has resulted in a need to constantly prove herself to those she believes would possibly agree with this uncertainty. The only person she does not need validation from being her beloved twin.
Aside from the eager use of intimidation and foolhardiness, Sofia is an exceptionally loyal girl who will stand by her loved ones till the very end. She is fiercely protective of her sister and ensures that Ivy's safety remains paramount, even going as far as putting herself at risk for her sister's sake.

History
Sofia was born seventeen minutes after her elder sister, Ivy, on the 20th of March 1997. The only people present during the birth was the hospital staff and their grandmother, Eleanor White. Due to complications with the birth, both girls came out several weeks earlier than planned and were significantly smaller than they should've been. Their mother, having undergone the painful ordeal, was bed ridden for days and overly exhausted from the pregnancy of her 'accidental' children. Elisa was a young mother from the streets of Miami, just 21 years old and already a single parent to two squalling sisters.
Early life for Ivy and Sofia brought on more challenges than their young mother could handle, a woman living on minimum pay and surviving the fallout with the father of their daughters. As a result of the stress involved raising them Elisa often had their grandmother look over them, and for the time the elderly woman was alive she did a good job nourishing and loving the two odd little girls.
By the time they were four Ivy and Sofia had crafted their own unique dynamic, behaving like any twins should with their synchronized actions and secret language. Sofia, unlike her more calm elder sister, did not speak until she was nearing kindergarten, a worrying development that their grandmother discovered after comparing the two girls. Where Ivy spoke in confidence her younger sister would cry and have tantrums; the only person capable of translating the little girl's moods being her twin. The concern for Sofia and her lack of speaking was finally broken when the blonde twin told off an ant for biting her sister, she proceeded to squish the insect and prove that she could, in fact speak. She had simply let Ivy do all the talking during their early years.
School in itself was another challenge entirely. Sofia was born with the unfortunate developmental disorder, dyslexia. The girl lagged behind in the classes, given extra attention during the reading and writing exercises and unlike her cohort, who managed to write their names and the full alphabet, Sofia struggled to distinguish which shape resembled which sound. Her sister, always present during Sofia's extra lessons, assisted in the teaching of her sibling and ensured her presence was known. Seperating the twins was a mistake that was only made once before the teachers simply let them stay together during any and all activities.
Their mother, having been alerted to her daughter's reading disorder, seemed to only grow more frustrated with home life in general. She was a busy woman, often leaving home early in the morning and not returning till late in the evening. Her daughter's were used to the pattern and spent much of their time reciting their words, eating whatever food they could find in the pantry and go on marvelous adventures with the help of their imagination. It was a daily escape that assisted the twins in relinquishing the stresses no one their age should've faced. Night times were Sofia's most favorite moments, snuggled up with her sister in their shared single bed listening to Ivy 'read' her fairytales of princesses, dragons and talking trees.
Sofia couldn't read the books and Ivy would occasionally mix up the stories with her own ideas, just to keep things new every night.
At school, teacher's were mightily helpful in catering to Sofia's disorder and often asked her sister to assist with the homework and the readings. The two girls were doted on by the staff, almost as if their teachers knew about something that they didn't. News of their mother's absence was enough to place some concern over the twins and the teacher's ensured that the two received the very best education possible. Unlike their kind educators their peers weren't so friendly, finding it particularly amusing to tease the 'girl who couldn't read' and her 'skinny sister'.
Sofia put an end to the bullying in year 5 when she made a boy pee his pants after he called her sister ugly.
Once both girls entered puberty, they had grown more independant from the people around them but more dependent on one another. Ivy was Sofia's voice when she couldn't articulate herself and Sofia was Ivy's fearless guardian during the cold nights alone. She had established herself as a fiesty child, much to the chagrin of their babysitter and their step-father and she enjoyed the satisfaction of annoying those who annoyed her.
Their independence granted them freedom to escape the shackles of their cold and lonely house and explore the world around them. South Miami became their playground and the girls treated it as their own turf, knowing where all the best hiding places were located and what the easiest ways to get food and money were. Because of their wayward adventures, they did, on occasion, bump into the local authorities. Although little issue came out from such things and only made the girls grow more wise and cunning. They gathered what they could to make their home life a little more brighter, cooking for their mother but their acts of kindness were often rebuked as childish games and stupidity. Having grown disillusioned with her daughter's antics, Elisa eventually grew weary of catering to their needs and simply let them do what they wanted, a mistake that would cause a bigger rift between children and parent.
Having grown confident enough to cut her hair, Sofia was ready for the frighteningly large world around her. There was so many words she still didn't know, so many mixed up numbers, letters and symbols that it made her brain hurt, but Ivy was with her every step of the way, loving her and teaching her.
Once her power had manifested, in the most timely fashion of course, during her sister's recruitment, Sofia was offered a chance at a new life. A new fairytale. The prospect of leaving the kingdom that was southern Miami for the strange little Pilot Ridge was incredibly daunting for the young metahuman, even more so because it meant returning to a school environment which she wasn't particularly fond of. But the promise of free food and accommodation alongside her beloved sister was what snagged her attention and after minutes consideration she tagged along, never letting go of her sister's hand in the process.
Although the setting had changed and they were on new turf, Sofia was still Ivy's protector as much as Ivy was Sofia's comforter and there was no breaking the time old tradition of being read stories before bed.
Their fairytale had only just begun.
