“Of course I can’t… I just want to bend you over that garbage can and give you all I got.” Jared said laughing. God, was something wrong with his head? He had thought about kissing the blonde back for a second. Jet lag did strange things to the human body. “What the hell is the matter with me?” He muttered under his breath.
“Well when you’ve got a package like mine you have to know how to deal with them.” Jared said smugly. He was surprised at how tired the blonde seemed. Granted he had been woken up at an ungodly hour. Was it just him or was Cam missing a t-shirt now? Shrugging to himself he couldn’t help but grin at the cashier when Cam proclaimed that he was good in bed. “You’d best trust him; I only ever get the pretty ones.” Jared lazily drawled. He winked at the cashier and before he knew it he was outside.
Sighing and hanging his head Jared answered. “It’s been a bloody long time. I’ve been a little busy trying to get life together enough that I’ll have time for those shenanigans.” It wasn’t his life that he had been trying to get together, but Cameron didn’t need to know that. He was sure the blonde knew that he had a few addictions, so hopefully it would be chalked up to that. He caught sight of Cam and noted that he was getting increasingly tired looking. “You need me to drive? I can’t promise I’ll be any good or remember the way, but you look sacked out.” He offered. He suspected Cam wouldn’t accept his offer, but at least it was there.
Sitting beside Cam Jared leaned close. “I bet you will.” His tone said it all. He felt the eyes crawling across his skin too late. The question caught him off guard. Usually his poker face was on so that life was a joke, but apparently he had let it slip just enough that someone who actually cared saw through his thin charade. He wasn’t okay. It felt like he was trying to ride a unicycle across a tightrope while juggling, and to top it off he wasn’t allowed to balance. He cracked a thin smile. “I’ll be alright, just have a few things floating around my mind is all. I can at least begin to get it sorted now that I’m here.” He said, trying to answer Cam’s question without getting into specifics.
He had half a mind to let himself and Cam in without the keys. “Shit son is right. I haven’t done that since I left Europe.” Jared said with a laugh. He let himself in and fell silent as he took in the halls. It had been a year since he had last been in these dorms. “Thanks again Cam… are you still in the same room?” He asked as he sauntered down the hall, dragging his bags behind him. He waited for Cam to open the next door before letting himself in after the blonde. “I’ll grab your floor if you don’t mind.” He whispered, making sure that he wouldn’t make enough noise to wake Cameron’s roommates.
No sooner were they in Cam’s room then Jared had dropped his bag and taken his sleeping bag out. He cleared a small space on the floor for himself and removed his pants and shirt. He lay out his bag and lay on top of it, watching Cam. He saw the shadow forming around the blonde’s eye. “I can teach that other guy a lesson if you want.” He said casually, just imagining what he would do to someone who mistreated a friend like Cameron. Yawning he turned on his side and continued to watch his friend.
