As far as Oriel was concerned, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Like, how many times would he get the chance to be a girl and, true to his chronic sexual curiosity, experiment intimacy as a girl. The idea was so incredibly appealing, Oriel was already past considering a request for permission from Phoenix to break the exclusivity for the time being just for the sake of experimentation and new experiences. No, even if Phoenix said no, Oriel wasn’t going to let this opportunity pass him by, because he had every intention of going right back to how things were as soon as this strange phenomenon expired, because obviously this was all temporary, right?

It had to be.

Oriel twisted his lips into that same devilish smile he always had, a glare of desire burning in his eyes, as Tak invited herself(himself?) to grope Oriel’s generous assets. “Well, there’s a piece of meat on this she-male that I specifically haven’t tried yet, so your argument is invalid.”

With a stack of Rya’s clothes stuffed under one arm, Oriel grabbed Tak’s groping hand with his free hand and led him/her down the hall. Oriel had no intention of being shy nor subtle about this. “Phoenix!” he called to the bathroom. “Tak and me’re gonna have some fun for a bit. Wanna join?” Regardless of how fem-Phoenix answered, Oriel tugged Tak into the bedroom and closed the door behind them.

Josh created lazy loops in his oatmeal with the spoon as he considered the cookie possibilities. He had never kept a well stocked pantry when he'd lived on his own, but Sean rarely ever ran out of the staples. Now that there was someone in the house who baked as a hobby there was even more reason to regularly replenish their supplies; this meant that he probably didn't need to limit his options due to lack of ingredients.

Despite the fact that realistically he could bake any number of more interesting cookies, he said, "Why don't we make sugar cookies. I don't think I have the stomach for anything with chunks or nuts or anything right now."

Sean settled across from his partner. Although he had little appetite as well, he was long used to forcing himself to eat under stress. Granted, his situation far exceeded most of the typical fare of stress in his life: students causing problems, relationship drama, and Hammel politics paled in comparison to waking up to find himself in a female body. Other more traumatic or stressful events had known, external causes. This, however, was an inexplicable mystery.

At the same time, in order to function, he had developed excellent coping skills. The telepath barely tasted the oatmeal as he ate spoonful after spoonful, but down the hatch it went.

He nodded his assent to the sugar cookie proposal. “If that’s what you’d like to make, then we can easily make sugar cookies.”

Sean always kept the pantry well-stocked, and he was sure that they had all of the necessary ingredients. The recipe was simple enough that the telepath could do it without checking, and he was sure that Josh was in a similar place. They could bake on autopilot, while they both coped with the physical changes.

“Do you want to decorate them afterward? We still have some icing left over from Valentine’s Day.”
