Jared needed a break from the constant drama that he considered his life. He didn’t care if it was just a couple of days, he was going to take off and have a damn good time. There was only person he intended to take with him this time. He lived with Odion now so there would plenty of time for shenanigans with the redhead. He was going to take his favorite blonde for a trip that he would never forget. He knew that Cameron didn’t exactly party the same way he did, but he had the feeling that it could be arranged. He packed up his suitcase and left a note letting Odion know where he was going to be for the next few days.
Assuming that Odi would be fine on his own for a few days, Jared was officially ready to visit a new part of the world. He had texted Cameron earlier this morning to see if the blonde wanted to go to Vegas with him for a couple days. He was pretty sure that Cam still didn’t believe that Jared actually intended to take him with for free. It wasn’t as if he wouldn’t make his money back at the casinos. Gambling happened to be one of many vices that he had. The city of sin just made itself sound sweeter to him every time he thought about going.
Looking out the window he saw a truck approaching with a very excited looking blonde behind the wheel. Jared smirked and practically ran out the door, his suitcase bouncing around behind him haphazardly as it caught on the front steps. He didn’t give Cameron time to get out of the truck. Instead he just tossed his bag over the side of the box and pulled himself into the passenger seat. He held out his hand for a high five, and reached into his pocket with the other. Cam’s plane ticket was under the blonde’s nose before the high five could even connect. “You’d better be ready to have some fun, mate.” He said gleefully.
As far as he knew Cameron had never been to Las Vegas either, so exploring the many forms of debauchery the place had to offer would be high on Jared’s to do list. “The drinks and anything else you want is on me. Consider it payment for the other night.” Jared said with a smirk. He wasn’t sure, but he vaguely remember being tucked in and kissed goodnight by the blonde. He wasn’t about to ask what happened, but it was one of the nicest things anyone had ever done for him. He was still confused about how he felt about that kiss. It was unexpected but it hadn’t bothered him near as much as he thought getting kissed by a bloke would. His mind wandered for a second as he took in the passing scenery.
They would be at the airport soon, and he could only begin to imagine how much fun it would be to fly with the blonde. It’d be far less boring than the flight he had taken by himself. “You’re not a nervous flyer are you? Because that’d be bloody awful considering you’ve kayaked down a mountain side.” Jared said. He watched Cam’s face contentedly as he waited for their adventure to really begin.
