Something to do (Open)

When some people were bored they slept, ate or sighed a lot....then there was Dawn. She stared at the wall in the gym with a couple of students in the class just sitting on the bleachers. She had a basketball in her hands and just stared at the wall like a statue for a while. Most people knew by now that Dawn was pretty weird. You couldn't tick her off, make her do anything she wanted to do or even make her sad. She was just way too neutral for that.  She stared at the wall one more time before looking at the ball and then back at the students...they bored her. How could just sit on the bleachers and do nothing for this long?! She shook her head as if they disappointed her...and then threw the ball at the wall. She caught it and threw it back. This was something to do for a while. 

For a while this seemed to help her feel good, but as usual she got bored and threw it across the room with no real anger. She looked it though, but she tended to give the wrong impression since she never really smiled. It caused a few students to jump and one girl to shriek which sent Dawn smirking. She hummed and put the ball up. Then she walked calmly to the dummies and dragged one to the middle of the bleacher. Now everybody seemed to stare at her, what was she doing? She wasn't that strong and she never really fought before except with this one boy over chocolate...but that was it. She smiled at everyone before going back into a poker face...and kicked the dummy in the leg.

A few of them flinched as the dummy fell on it's back. Dawn just sighed and shrugged her shoulders. "Still bored." She then picked the dummy up and started attacking it. Soon she was feeling better, nothing like pretending a dummy is real and beating it up for a little bit. She hummed and paused from punching the dummy and just looked at everybody. "Anybody wanna play somethin'? I don't see the teacher...anywhere and I am bored. Seriously...where is the teacher?"

Madison stayed on the bleacher drawing as the class waited for the teacher to come back form where ever she was. She was bored and decided to keep drawing her picture of the joker while she was waiting. Only her attention was straying away from her drawing and kept looking at the purple head girl. First she was just staring at the wall and Madison was debating rather or not to ask the girl if she was okay in till she started bouncing the ball. She figured she was fine so her attention then went back on her drawing. Then the girl started to attack the dummy. She didn't know how to take what she was doing. Everyone else on the bleacher seem to be afraid of her for some reason.

"I was thinking the same thing" Madison said to the girl about her teacher not being there. She set her drawing book down and got down from the bleachers. "I'll play something with you. I'm like really bored myself". She smiled at the girl. "What do you want to play? Oh and i'm Madison by the way". She stuck her hand out for the girl to shake.

She really was NOT expecting anyone to respond to that. She had already rehearsed it in her mind that she was going to shrug her shoulders and start dancing, singing and who-knew-what-else until her boredom was gone. Weird people rocked too her. She smiled once she heard a girl's voice and tried to find the person that it belonged to. It didn't take long for her to be looking at a pretty girl around her age. Her smirk wasn't meant to happen...but nothing really happened. Wooow pretty... She let go of the dummy and walked toward the girl and shook her hand.

"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance Madison. My name is Dawn." She let go of her hand a while later and looked around. What a great question. What did Dawn want to play? Something dangerous...oh! "We could always grab some dodgeballs and start throwin' them at the students." She pointed to them with a slight smile on her face. They probably didn't hear her but they probably didn't want to know. "If that don't suit your fancy then we could always do somethin' else." Dawn always sounded like a southern British person. It was because of all those British movies..and shows and music. She smiled and swayed side to side while waiting for an answer.

"It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance to" Madison said with a amused smile on her face. Dawn in such a pretty name". Madison laughed not sure of the girl was joking or not. "That doesn't sound to nice and I love the way you talk by the way. You have a nice voice". Madison grabbed the small digital camera she brought to gym class instead (she kept the nice expensive one away from gym so it wouldn't break) out of her pocket and snapped a picture of the girl. "I always take pictures of someone when meet them" she explained to her. "Never know when it might be a memorable moment". She put her camera back in her pocket. "How about we play something a little less mean and probably something that can't get us in trouble".

Dawn couldn't help how flattered she felt at the moment. She actually was really smiling. "Thanks!" She really didn't mean to put a southern drawl to that, but it happened anyway. If she was someone who did face palms she would so do that right then. What didn't sound too nice? She looked confused at her and that was when she had her picture taken. She blinked and smiled at that. "Oh okay. That's neat. I'm not one to do that but I must say I like having my picture taken." She laughed at that and shook her head.

What were they talking about again? Oh right...Nothing dangerous or getting them in trouble didn't sound fun. She sighed and sat down while trying to think. "If you had any music we could dance to it...wait that's going to get us in trouble." She put her index finger on her bottom lip and thought some more. This was hard..."What you wanna do?" That was all she could think to say to that. She smirked out how amused she felt at the moment.

"No problem. I'm just stating facts". Madison had a thing for people with accents. She thought they were pretty cool. "If we become friends you're going to get use to it because I take a lot of pictures. Everything possibly a memorable moment when you don't know how long something last". Which was mostly the reason she did this. Moving around so much she never knew when she was going to see something or someone again. It was nice to be able to revisit a time or place whenever she wanted.

Madison jumped up and down excited. "Oo I like the dancing idea. We shouldn't get in that that much trouble for dancing so lets do that! I do a mean cabbage pack and running man". She took her phone out and handed it to Dawn. "Here they're a bit of every genre and artist on this phone. Pick a song and I shall follow your lead".

She nodded her head and smiled while tucking a strand of hair behind her hair. "Well then I like the stated fact." She chuckled and looked at the people again. She then looked back at Madison once she talked again. "Oh nice. I like taking pictures of nature, animals and chocolate mostly." She smiled brightly at that.

She followed Madison's jumping body with her eyes and a slight smirk on her face. "I can see that, madam." She laughed and mockingly jumped up and down as well. "And I agree. Besides we could always drag the teacher along the ride." She chuckled and nodded her head as she looked for a good song on her phone. She didn't really know if Madison would follow her lead though. She smirked because all Dawn did mostly was Arabic dancing. Soon she found Slow Down by Selena Gomez and pressed play. "Yay I love this song." She clapped her hands and gave it back to Madison. She then started to move her hips to the music with a smile on her face.

"I'm a fan of both chocolate and animals. Only i'm not really allowed to have sweets". Madison laughed bashfully as Dawn started to move her hips. She was a dancer so of course she could do something as simple as moving her hips but it was one of the few things she got bashful doing in front of people. She put her phone down on the bleacher and followed Dawn lead anyway moving her hips to the beat of the music. She made sure to give a smile to the people who watched on the bealchers. "We have fans" she joked nodding her head to the kids watching. "Do you dance a lot Dawn"?

She laughed at that. "Well then I guess I will have to give you sweets to see that happen." She loved to be the person who caused others to become hyper. Dawn laughed again once she noticed people watching and soon found herself twirling out for the heck of it. Did she dance? She danced when there was music so that was a lot of dancing. "Oh yes. I love dancing. What about you?" Dancing was one of the things she found as a stress release. She rarely got angry though, but she loved dancing anyway. She looked at someone who was dancing lightly on the bleacher and skipped over to the girl. "Come on then!" She smiled wide and pulled the girl up and towards them. Now there were three people. "Maybe we can get them all to dance." She laughed because they would probably get in trouble if everyone was dancing. She couldn't figure out why they would though, not like they were doing anything wrong.

"Dancing my other passion". She smiled as she seen Dawn pull the girl to dance with them. "Challenge accepted". Madison went over to the bleachers and pulled two guys down. "Come on dance with us" Maddie insisted dancing around them getting them to dance a little to.

She laughed and watched Madison grab two boys. "Very nice!" She clapped her hands, took a joking bow and then danced with the girl some more. There was nothing more fun than dancing with people and having a good time. Who knew you could have fun in a school? "This is so much fun!" She giggled and just kept dancing. Then she skipped over to a few more people who were smiling and laughing at them. She smiled wide at them and pulled them off the bleachers. If they wanted to laugh they might as well dance too. It wasn't long until they gave in and danced. "Next song is yours."
