What is your plotting philosophy?
I'm open to whatever here. I really enjoy plotting, but also appreciate spontaneity, especially when feeling out chemistry between characters. If you have a specific idea of what you want out of a thread, I'm generally happy to work with that, unless it's something I'm really not interested in for my character. It really comes down to individual situations.
What types of plots are you interested in playing?
Right now I'm mostly interested in fluff. I had a bit of a rollercoaster summer and could use some escapism. That being said, I do usually love me some drama, so if you have an idea go ahead and float it by me.
What types of plots are you not interested in playing?
1. Storylines where you could reasonably expect my characters to be traumatized.
2. Related to question #2, romantic relationships where any character has nefarious intentions. (I feel like this should be pretty easy to avoid; this isn't a restriction on any relationship that doesn't result in True Love 5ever. I just don't want to play out one-sided heartache.)
How often can you reply to any given thread?
I work full time and go to school so optimistically we're looking at 2-3 times a week. Maybe more on my days off?
What is the longest you're willing to wait for a reply to a thread?
Two weeks, and then I'll check to see if you're still interested. Unless you post that you're going to be away from the board for x amount of time - if you're still interested in the thread when you get back, so am I.
Are you open to RPing over instant messengers? If so, what's the best way to contact you and what times are you generally available?
No, sorry.
Are you open to post volleying?
If we're online for a decent stretch at the same time, let's do it! Especially if our characters are having a conversation and we're just throwing one-liners at each other. Might as well cram a lot of posts in.
Anything else?
My schedule is weird, so the periods where I can be online are pretty variable. I'll check in as often as I can, though.
PLAYER LIMITS
What are you limits regarding powerplay/godmoding?
I'm completely okay with my character getting hurt or grabbed in a fight, stuff like that. If you want to write about something more severe happening, like having a bone broken, I'd appreciate a heads up instead of just having it thrown in, but I'll usually give you the go-ahead. (This is my old position and it's all still true in relevant RP situations, but right now I'm not interested in storylines that open themselves to this kind of powerplay. See question #3)
What are your limits in regards to romantic situations?
I feel like these are better done organically but pre-plotting can pay off as well. That being said, I'm taking it easy on these storylines right now.
What are your limits in regards to sex (within the TOS)?
I'm not interested in playing sex out in detail. I much prefer the pull-on-boots-afterward approach.
What are your limits in regards to violent scenes (within the TOS)?
See question #3.
What are your limits in regards to abuse/rape in plots?
I'm not interested in taking on any plots of this nature at this time.
