Gryphon, being the person he was, had no knowledge really of 'The House', or any places like it, and so, he didn't recognize the name, and he didn’t exactly assume or expect anything. However, with the knowledge that he had no knowledge of the place, he was curious, but not extremely. It might’ve been a performance company or something, y’know, singing, dancing…? Eh, he didn’t know. “I’m sure you’ll find somethin’ new soon,” She seemed like a lovely person, who would probably work hard, if she had to. He didn’t doubt her possibility of getting employed, if she wanted to be, the only restriction being the number of jobs and the specificity of some employers. Maybe soon.
The fact that Gryph had money didn’t exactly give him the right or the purpose to throw it in people’s faces. He didn’t like informing people of his wealth, or using it, but for others, he always would, if he had to. He only used it for himself for necessities – his possessions looked as ordinary as the next guy’s, only with a few more expensive looking items. He didn’t see the point, and didn’t feel the need to act like he was better than anyone else because of his family’s economic standing.
He smiled with her. Yeah, she definitely seemed like a nice person to be around – he was pretty certain he wouldn’t regret this. He chuckled, “Same here.” Except he couldn’t exactly promise anything about Kodi – hopefully, he wouldn’t sneak in at some deadly hour in the night from Hammel or something.
“Don’t worry about it too much, if it takes a while t’find somethin’ or whatever.” He could cover for it, if it was a problem, was what he was hinting at, even if he didn’t say it out loud. He nodded, “Yeah, that sounds good.” He didn’t think he was gonna be too busy, hopefully. He was glad for the temperature change when it came, even if had only been slightly cold before. Warmth was better. “It was no problem, honestly.” He replied, holding onto his jacket now and smiling, “It was nice meetin’ you.” He said, “Even if it was ‘cause you were covered in tea.” He added. Yup.
