Kristoff has dark, short hair. His skin is light and his eyes are brown. Kristoff doesn’t have any tattoos, scars or piercings, even though they would be unusual for his age. He is below average height, but entering his growth spurt. He’s quite skinny, and not bad looking. Kristoff has little muscle, but he’s okay at running, considering this. He avoids physical activity if he can, mostly because he’s bad at it.
Kristoff looks best in dark clothing, and knows it. He mostly dresses in blues and blacks.
Kristoff is Polysexual and has only been in a couple of relationships.
Generally he puts a lot of concentration into everything he does, along with a strong determination. This makes it hard for him to multi-task but he generally does well at what he tries to, even if it takes him a lot of tries and attempts. It takes him a while to warm up to new people, and he tends to stay on his own or with close friends if he can help it. If he doesn’t like you, it’s obvious. He does tend to be friendly to those he likes, although he still keeps a bit of that aura around him.
Kristoff appears like an ideal target- he’s small, slight, introverted and quiet.
He used to want to become musical, until the Incident with a guitar (where he broke the strings trying to tune it in a recital), when he promptly stopped that. Since then he hasn’t invested any time into that, and has mostly become interested in sciences and video games. He spends quite a lot of time just reading or playing games.
Kristoff was born to a Russian mother and a meta-human British father. He grew up in London with his little sister, Elise. They had the normal love-hate relationship of all siblings.
Kristoff went to a fairly ordinary British public school, and started at a fairly ordinary secondary school. His mother taught him Russian, and although he can speak it fluently, from his entire childhood with her, he far prefers English.
Generally his father called him Christopher and his mother called him Kristoff.
His parents always suspected he would develop powers at some point, so had consideration into which school he should go to if he did. His family wanted him to go to the Russian school for meta-humans, but he felt more comfortable going to an American school- partly because of the climate- but mostly because he didn’t want to do military service to a foreign nation. As such his family moved to the US a few years ago so he wold fall into the jurisdiction of the school he wanted to go to.
Kristoff’s powers emerged about a half week before he was found by the Hammel Institute. He didn’t cause any enormous incidences, but he caused quite a few small ones, mostly involving chemistry labs and Bunsen burners, or gas cookers, resulting in no more than a few minor burns and a slightly-too-reactive demonstration, which set off a school fire alarm from smoke, but no injuries, and attracted the attention of the institute. He needed little persuasion to go with them.
His pyrokinesis needs a lot of concentration, though his resistance to fire can be activated subconsciously. The pyrokinesis can be powerful when he puts his mind to it, although upon arriving at the academy he has very little control or ability to use it. If he loses control, the fire dissipates rather than going wild. Kristoff can get headaches if he uses his power for too long or too large an amount of fire, as well as over too long a distance. These advance to Migraines, ringing ears and blurred vision if he doesn’t cool down, occasionally nose bleeds, and eventually to fainting. It takes him a few seconds to take control of any fire in the vicinity, so he can’t control things like explosions.
Kristoff normally needs physical prompts when using his powers, so it is harder for him to control if he can’t move his hands for whatever reason. Additionally, he can’t control fire he hasn’t seen. His powers are rapidly growing stronger though..Behind the M A S K . . .Name: Robin

RP Experience: Well, I’ve kind of been doing RP for four or five years but not all seriously, originally just over emails with no real rules or regulations. I started RPing online 2 and a half years ago. I’ve been on three sites, two of which have died ( Dn: ), and I’d quite like to get onto another site which isn’t dying.
How did you find us?: I was browsing for RP sites on the internet (specifically for powered RP sites), and this one looked pretty interesting, and fit all my criteria, so I thought I’d go for it.Show your S K I L L S . . .Kristoff picked up his hand luggage; although it really was more of a small rucksack; and slung it on his bag. He checked his jacket pocket once again: It still contained a few dollars, his passport, and in the other pockets a few printed maps of the area the school was in.
This was certainly going to be an interesting term. Most people don’t have to leave home until they’re eighteen, and certainly don’t have to move to another country for several months at a time just for a school. A whole term.
Kristoff could already tell how much he was going to miss his family.
“Remember to call! Do all your homework, Kristoff, I don’t want you getting in trouble.”
“Mum, we have been through this a million times. If there’s really an issue, I’m sure someone there will help with it. Besides- since when did I get into trouble?” Okay, that wasn’t too hard to answer. Maybe the time he accidentally set off a fire alarm in chemistry? Silently, he checked his phone was still in his pocket, though.
His sister didn’t seem so bothered that he was going. She wasn’t so touchy-feely as their mother, and besides, Kristoff had a feeling she would be following him before too long.
His mother embraced him then, and although Kristoff made a good act of distaste, he secretly appreciated it. He knew they would miss him as much as he did them. He gently pushed his mother off, and took a step back.
“Bye, mum. Bye, dad.” His dad seemed somewhat wistful- he was probably remembering going off to a meta school too. Kristoff turned to his sister, who folded her arms and grunted, turning her head away slightly. “Bye, Elise?” He was a little hurt that his sister didn’t seem to care that he was leaving.
“Come on, Mr Humphreys, or you’ll be late for the flight.”
“Have fun in Vermont.” Said Kristoff’s dad.
Kristoff turned and headed over to the woman from the Institute. As he stepped out of their sight he only looked back for a second.
