SUE: So There's No Coffee? (Ella and Faye)

The worst part of the power outage is that it burnt out the coffee machine.

Faye's head was pounding. She hadn't seen Everett all day and she was pretty sure she was about to get her period and didn't have a tampon. It was a fantastic day. The only thing she could do was raise her white flag and drown her insides with liquid sleep in hopes of getting through the next 3 hours.

The lights flickered as the blonde sauntered down the halls on her way to the staff lounge. That wasn't good. She quickened her pace a bit, slightly fearful of a rogue student who's powers had gotten the best of the electricity in the building. The lights flickered faster, until finally turning off, leaving her in a dark hallway.

She ran. She didn't like the dark. Faye sprinted to the staff lounge, diving into what seemed like an empty room. "Ok." She sighed. She had this. The lights were still out but she was at the coffee machine so first things first.

Ella could think of many things that were worse than the dark. If anything, the darkness called for more shadows. And as of late, she'd been finding herself a lot more fond of the presence of shadows. And most definitely, the recruiter who happened to dwell within them.

She'd been in the staff lounge when the lights first flickered, and concern crossed her features as she poured the necessary amount of milk into her cup.

As she tapped the spoon to the edge, she moved to settle it down when someone burst through. Ella froze instinctively, unable to deny the shifting pulse of whoever it was that entered the room. They'd likely been moving fast, given the rate. But she shook her head, attempting to physically release the way her powers took over her mentality in a state of relative surprise. Or shock.

"I took the last." She said, glancing across the darkened room at the stranger who wandered towards the machine. "Sorry."
