Kodi scowled as he stared up at the apartment that his moron was going to be living in now. He'd offered to help him move into his new place today, but that didn't mean he had to be happy about it. If nothing else, he was going to scope the place out and see how the best way for him to sneak in and see Gryph would be. It was a nice place - not too far from the lake, and close enough to both colleges so his boyfriend and his whore of a roommate could travel without too much trouble. It was probably kind of spendy too, but... Well, apparently Gryph didn't have a problem with that, or somehow the slut made enough money to afford it too (probably doing business on the corner, he grumped).
No, he wasn't happy about who Gryphon had chosen to live with, but.... It could have been worse. At least it was a girl, for one thing; although, Kodi didn't trust her not to try to make moves on the winged boy anyway. He glared at her back as they went up the stairs, carrying a box in his arms full of his lover's stuff. "I swear if you touch a single hair on him, I will eviscerate you," he hissed under his breath as they reached the floor their room was on. Tak just looked back at him with a smile and a wink, before going into the apartment apparently unfazed.
Kodi grumbled under his breath and sat the box on a couch, rubbing at the fading bruises around his eyes and cheeks. His face was still sore and a little swollen, but he was doing fine otherwise. "How many more boxes you got, babe?" he asked, ignoring the ho as she walked around with her own things. "Need me t'carry some more up for you?" He flexed his arms, conveniently wearing a tanktop due to the warm weather. "Wouldn't want you t'risk hurtin' your poor pretty arms." Yes, he was deliberately trying to be upbeat despite his displeasure at the situation.
