Gryphon listened to Kodi's little tantrum with a smirk on his face and chuckles falling out of his mouth. It came to a floppy end and Gryph raised an eyebrow, "You're as bad as I am," Him being probably the most unthreatening person ever. And besides, Gryphon could probably last longer than Kodi could without sex. Yeah. It would be more of a punishment for Kodi than Gryph.
He looked over at Tak as she made her brief appearance and then looked back up at Kodi, "You're so friendly." He commented, sticking his tongue out at the other boy. Yup, Kodi = friendship, definitely.
"You keep tellin' yourself that." He said, smirking.
Gryph frowned at the direction the conversation took after that point, though. He was just looking out for Kodi, but it was hard to say stuff that might help him or whatever without feeling like he was talking down on him. He watched Kodi get up and then looked at the ceiling again, pulling his knees up a bit and crossing his arms. The problem was, Gryphon wasn't Kodi. He didn't fully understand how the other boy worked, or, or how to help him. He wanted to, so he would know the exact right things to say, and so he would comprehend every thought that passed his mind. That just wasn't a possibility, though, and Gryph hated being in the dark. He didn't have much of a choice with that, though. Maybe he was helping, maybe he wasn't. He wasn't sure.
And Gryph didn't know what to do either. He didn't want Kodi to leave or anything like that, but he wasn't sure how to pick the dull atmosphere up again. He tried to think of something to say, but nothing of any use came to mind. He turned and slid off the couch, sitting cross-legged on the floor. Why couldn't he think of anything?
