Time Warp: Rearrangements (Rya)

Oriel had been in somewhat of a constant daze recently. Though his face was somewhat vacant, his mind kept reflecting over the events of the past month or so.

Kodah was a meta. He came to Hammel. That'd been a relief.

Lux was...something...he didn't know.

Madison was....over.

To make things worse, Kodah and he were pretty much over with too...weren't they...? Funny, the second he started thinking of the younger boy as his best friend, they get into a fight over who the fuck fucked who. Oriel couldn't believe that he thought that he and Lux had....

And now Madison was gone...after he started that whole fight because he couldn't keep his ugly mouth shut.

Well...they both could just go fuck themselves! Lux still liked him! She said so! She chose him! Over the jolly-blonde-twins, she chose him! And she always would, right?

Laying there on the couch, his face to the ceiling and eyes closed, Oriel's breathing had started to heighten as his thoughts hovered over these recent events. Things people said, things they didn't say. The image of a snake with a deadly venom pounced out at him. Oriel startled up at the sound of the door closing. Oriel glared fiercely in the direction of the bitch who just walked through. It took him a minute to recognize her as the wench who frequented visits to a certain blonde WASP next door. His features immediately became more hostile. "The fuck you want, Cunterella?" A bead of nervous sweat trailed down the side of his face. Oriel breathing was still tense. "Prince Charming ain't putting out?"

Rya hadn't expected to switch dorms, especially not as she was going into her senior year of Highschool. She was very content in her last dorm, and being switched seemed absolutely useless, that is, until she found out where she was moving. It then became something of a positive experience. The Hydrokinetic could deal with it, if only for the next year.

At least she wouldn't have to walk too far if she wanted to make a visit to the Twin's dorm.

However, Rya had seen a few individuals come in and out of the dorm beside them every so often, including some random Indian kid who seemed to hate her from the first time she saw him. Whatever the fuck his problem, she didn't know, but asking would imply that she gave a fuck.

"Heard you needed some help formulating decent insults," The Brit rolled her eyes, dropping the box beside the opened door. "So i'm moving in. You're welcome."

Simply ignoring his comment about Carter, Rya continued to bring in her own things. While Rya didn't own a lot, she most definitely made it seem like she did. "Which room is empty?"

This girl was hot, mind you. Exactly his type in the looks department. Brunette, long hair, pretty eyes, funbags the size of cantaloupes…he hated that another positive point was that sharp mouth on her. Oriel would tag her in a heartbeat if her cunt hadn’t already been punched wide open by a certain Richie Rich.

He snorted. “Don’t know who lied to you, but rolling your eyes ain’t an insult.” Oriel managed a twisted grin, his trademark of evil. “Just makes you look like a bad palsy case.” Oh yes, he went there.

Oriel didn’t feel like dealing with this right now. He’d forgotten about the shit with new roommates coming in and out at this time of year. Oriel hardly had to deal with that much(or at all) over the past two years. Declyn, Madison, and Sakiya had pretty much been his roommates the whole time. And then, all at once, they moved out. Oriel was the only one left.

He grunted and turned away, snapping his bare feet back up to lay across the couch and lounging himself back across it. “Third one from the left is mine. Rest are empty.” She was a big girl, she could do the rest herself.

"Clearly the same person who told you that taking shots using disabilities is effective." Already, Rya was well aware that she and him were not going to be having such a fun time living together if this was the case, and she hadn't even been there for five minutes.

At least she would get some sort of banter out of it, though. One thing she couldn't fault him for was his sharp tongue, something that she looked for in a person, but he was also an incredible dick, which essentially turned her off of him the minute he spoke up.

"Also, do something with your face. You look constipated," The Brit grabbed the first box, deciding which room she would choose. Honestly, she could choose one that was right next to his just to piss him off, but decided against it because while she would do it for that very reason, Rya had a hunch he would return the favor.

The Hydro opted for the room on the far left.

“Whatever works. Why the fuck should I be afraid of a good shot just ‘cause it ain’t PC?” That’s how they got these masses of fake people tiptoeing around, trying to sugarcoat what they really thought while they said the same offensive shit behind closed doors. One really had to wonder, who was the bad guy here? The guy who called things how they were to your face, or the two-faced assholes who pretended to be something for the sake of appearances?

Did it really matter? This world was shit anyway.

Oriel didn’t respond to the witch’s next comment. Rya had the unfortunate luck to catch Oriel when he was feeling a lot less than stellar. While he loved a good bout of banter, Oriel was just not in the mood today. He just wanted to be left alone. If being locked away in his room wasn’t a hundred times worse than being in the commons, Oriel would have just done that. He didn’t want to go outside. There was a chance he’d run into someone he didn’t have the guts to face yet, if ever.

Oriel groaned softly, like a little kid, as he rolled further into the couch and buried his face into the corner of the cushions.

"It isn't a 'good shot' when you use a condition that people can't help but have," Rya snapped, clearly irritated with the boy lying on the couch already. She could handle shots taken at her that were solely about her, but for someone to go as far as CP?

It was fucked up, even beyond her standards.

She didn't offer him any other words, and instead started bringing the boxes into her room. Rya was an avid boxing lover, so she wasn't complaining about having to do all of this herself. Plus, she didn't need to ask that dick of a roommate for help when all he seemed to be good at doing was lie there and mope.

Whatever, Oriel didn’t feel like arguing his point. On a better day, he would have taken up the challenge and talked her ear off until she paid him to shut up(not that she’s pay him, just stating a point here). But today, Oriel just wanted to sleep. Especially since he’d done none of it the night before. And probably wouldn’t again tonight.

The bitch’s scuffling around, however, was quickly interfering with Oriel’s beauty sleep.

He popped his eyes open into the cushion and slooooowly creeped his head up to look over the edge of the couch, silently watching as the brunette carried in each box one by one. “Good fuck, how much shit you got anyway?” he muttered, not really expecting an answer. “You’re ruining my nap…”

Rya didn't want to be lugging boxes into a brand new dorm and unpacking either, especially with no help. It caused it to take far longer and involve more noise than she had originally expected. If this were when she first arrived, Rya would have cared, but now she honestly didn't give two shits about what her new roommate felt about this.

The hydrokinetic glanced at him when he spoke up, but her gaze quickly shifted away because she had far more important things to do. An example would be moving in.

"I'm almost done," Rya called back, words tangled with irritation as she spoke them. "You can fucking nap later. I won't be here much longer after that." Unlike him, it seemed, she had people to visit and places to go. The Brit hated being in her dorm for too long, unless she was sleeping or actually attempting her homework.

He garumphed in annoyance. Almost done, huh? Well…thank god. Oriel had better things to do than watch some bitch-slut pretend to be fucking Wonder Woman.

“……what time you gonna be back?” he mumbled into the fabric of the sofa, his eyes still following her back and forth. Oriel’s arms were now draped loosely over the back end of the couch.

No he was not asking because he was lonely. What a ridiculous notion.

"Why do you care?" Was he one of those possessive roommates that required an agenda for each and every individual in the dorm? At one point in time, she had a roommate that tried that shit with her, and to put it lightly, the Hydro made his life hell. She pursed her lips, but continued moving the boxes back and forth.

"There, done." She breathed after the last box was moved to the room. She would unpack them later. Most of the clothes were already on hangers, so it wouldn't take much effort or organization - not that she was organized, anyway - and thus she could wait as long as she pleased. The girl leaned on the kitchen counter while still facing the couch, eyeing the boy curiously. Might as well figure out what she was going to deal with for the rest of the year before she headed out. Not only that, but it'd probably irritate the guy if she started asking questions, something she felt he deserved. "The other roommates got tired of you or something? Why is this dorm completely empty?"

“Mmm…” he grunted. Why did he care. Now he had to…. “I cook. Got to know if I should enough for one more….” Oriel went silent for a little bit before he continued on that subject. “What kind of shit you like, anyway?” Oriel was flexible…he could make food to her preference if he had to….

Not that he wanted to get closer to her or nothing…nope. She was just that blonde guy’s ho anyway…

Oriel wasn’t…

He followed her with his eyes, readjusting himself on the couch to face her as she meandered to the kitchen. Oriel scowled at the implication. Only one of those roommates was that true for…but she didn’t have to know that. “They graduated. All of ‘em.” Oriel snorted disdain. “What ‘bout you? Get too many sexual harassment complaints? That why they switched you out?” To someone who wouldn’t complain about her escort service?

"Men, women." Rya offered with a snort, not really understanding why he even cared about what she liked. If she were someone else, it might have been a sweet gesture, but she wasn't. She had to wonder why, but then she realized she shouldn't even care about why. So she just shook her head.

She had gotten a bit of a rep of sleeping around, and she was completely alright with that fact. People didn't have to put their nose in her business if they didn't feel the need to do so, but if they did that was their choice. Things have been said about her, and well, they simply floated past her.

"First off, if I touch someone, it's because they want me to. And oh do they want me to." She hummed, turning on the sink and idly moving it with her hands. "Second, if it was any of your fucking business, then you'd know, now wouldn't you?"

Oriel rolled his eyes along with his head. “Good to know. But, you know I ain’t talking ‘bout that shit, right?” Oriel didn’t care what her sexual preferences were, it seemed pretty clear that she like them blonde and pasty. He was just trying to be fucking courteous about meal planning. It’d no them no good if she was a fucking sissy when it came to spicy food, now wouldn’t it?

Oriel was well known enough to be a fucking whore himself, though he wasn’t sure how many knew he was dipping down into the homo part of that realm yet. So Oriel didn’t give a fuck if she was a slut, only about who she was fucking. Oriel didn’t want her to be whispering secrets of the sweet nothings into a certain cracker’s ear if he could help it.

“I’m sure they do….for a price.” Oriel snorted another laugh. “Hmph, well, if you want any of my business, you know where to fucking find me.” This chick wouldn’t be the first person he’d take to bed, but still wouldn’t be the last. He’d find her pleasing enough if just to show her something better than that white-washed pulitzer she was boning when she was bored.
