Time Warp: Wait, What now?

Life on the road, in planes, constantly moving about from place to place was the lifestyle of the two Chevalier men. After all, the business was only booming, and they were needed in several places at a single time. They prioritized, as they always did, while Aryana Darcy was left to her devices back in the bustling New York City. She would alternate between apartments in Burlington as well as New York, and she would occasionally stay with Carter when he was in town, or they were traveling for business purposes. 

After all, the idea of staying in anything more extravagant and spacious than an apartment didn't appeal to the girl who would spend quite a bit of time alone. 

That was why she loved New York, specifically. Because while she may have been without her counterpart, there was never a dull moment. The constant noise and chatter was comforting, to say the least, because she knew that all she had to do was walk out of the door and down the street. The city was alive, night or day, exactly how she wanted it to be. 

There was the occasional time where Rya would sit down and sift through emails that usually consisted of work related ideas and such, but on this day, she had received an email from Dom asking to meet with her. 

While it wasn't too common, it also wasn't a shocking request; she worked for him, after all, and there was the occasional meeting that was to be held between them. 

She dressed at her finest, taking herself to the specified meeting place on time. Rya wasn't necessarily known for her punctuality, but she knew when she could get away with being late. However, she most definitely wouldn't test it.
