Delilah had no problem trading one vice for another, just as long as the pain was gone and she was emotionally numb. Too many demons in this one to be saved, or so she thought of herself. Delilah had been broken too badly to be properly put back together. She could be made to appear normal on the surface, heck, she had put on that look plenty of times in public but to really be normal was out of the question. Jade would do her best to help Delilah and maybe she could actually help Delilah become a more sensible version of herself. What Jade offered right now was a good start. Pushing the pain away and the depression would help Delilah think more clearly, give her a chance to breath and figure herself out. Yeah, getting high doesn't sound like a good way to find clarity, but in reality it was the best way. Tuning yourself out of the world, out of all the electronic chatter going about is what everyone needed from time to time. Jade seemed to understand this, why else would she do what she did.
Delilah stood there a minute, thinking things over. Her heavy eyes studied Jade carefully, but not out of distrust, but more out of curiosity. Jade was different and Delilah liked different. Jade just sat there, waiting patiently for Delilah to take what was offered. Without really taking her eye's off of Jade, Delilah reached out with a shaky hand and took the joint. This wasn't her first rodeo, which was proven as she pulled a lighter from her pocket and lit up. Doing as Jade directed her, Delilah closed her eyes as she inhaled, thinking about her pain and anxiety. Holding the smoke in for a moment, Delilah just stood there, eyes closed while she tuned out the world around her. She let the smoke slowly out of her mouth, feeling the slightest tickle at the back of her throat. She ignored it and took another drag, repeating the process a few more times before opening her eyes. It would take a minute feel the effects so Delilah would take the opportunity to open things up a bit more.
A thin smoke cloud lingered about Delilah's space and she narrowed her eyes. "You know your green," Delilah said with a crooked smile. Had Delilah met Jade in a bar somewhere, things might be a bit different right now. Jade looked like she could be some fun, in more ways than one. She wasn't one Delilah could see having anything serious with, just someone to relieve some stress with from time to time. Who knew, Jade had made mention of things going in a physical direction, that it was a possibility. Delilah would just have to wait to see where this all went because as she took another drag, Delilah began to feel a bit more relaxed as the bud was doing its job. Delilah had a high tolerance to medication and while Jade's little blend might have been more than enough for your average user, Delilah was a pro. Letting out another small cloud of smoke, Delilah nodded her head. "It's gonna have to be a bit stronger, but still good none the less. As far as my pain, I roll with a seven most days. With this, I can probably get it dialed down to a five......Maybe," she said feeling a slight relaxing effect on her body and personality.
