General Appearance:
Evie's style could be described as fashion forward with a timeless twist. She is fashion forward but often chooses clothes that are comfortable to wear and easy to move in to make it easier for her to train in.
She'll wear both dark and light colors that tend to reflect her mood that day. She loves jewelery but tends to only wear it on special occasions as it tends to get in the way when she is training people like her. Evie wears make up every day, the amount varying on each day. On a daily basis she will keep her make-up more light and natural and add a bit more if the occasion calls for it.
Evie's hair is of a dark brown shade and she tends to keep it short but will wear hair extensions if she feels like it. It is naturally wavy, so she usually keeps it that way on an average day. If the occasion is somewhat formal, she may put her hair up or straighten it. Her eyes tend to stand out the most with their elegant shape and beautiful green color that change shades depending on the lighting. Her eyes are quite a noticeable feature of hers.
This young woman is quite slender when it comes to body form, displaying small curves in all the right places. She stands at about 5'7 in height and weighs about 110 pounds. Evie doesn't obsesses over her body like some women do, but she believes in staying fit. She is rather beautiful and she is pleased enough with her appearance.

INDEPENDENT!
From being in the care of the institute since she was thirteen years old, Evie has developed a sense of independence and knows how to take care of herself. However, while this trait could be somewhat admirable, it also has its downside. Evie's independence tends to lead to a stubbornness that can prove to be quite annoying for those trying to get her to do something that she may not want to do. She can be persuaded, but it takes a lot of patience and you must be prepared to answer questions she may have. She likes to be in control.
IMPULSIVE!
While Evie is smart in general, she's not so smart when it comes to her impulses. If she sets her mind on something, she may act without thinking about the consequences, which can lead to some pretty nasty situations. However, her impulsive nature also tends to set her up for some great opportunities, because she has the guts to follow her heart and take risks. Now that she's an adult, Evie has a lot more control over her impulses, but they still tend to come up from time to time.
PASSIONATE!
Evie is passionate in almost everything she does as she values life dearly. She's all about making the best of what you've got and following your heart in a lot of situations. Because of her passion for life, it has unleashed many good traits such as friendliness and compassion and she is probably one of the most selfless people you will ever meet. She has proved to be a very loyal friend and treats her close friends like family since she's never really had a true family since her powers were discovered by her parents.

Sarcasm is Evie's favorite type of humor and it tends to be present in quite a lot of conversations. This tends to annoy others if sarcasm isn't really their cup of tea. However, it seems unleash a witty side of Evie, as well as an honest side of her, which comes in handy if you ever want an honest friend.
BRAVE!
Evie is the kind of girl that won't let others walk all over her. She finds it easy to state her opinion and stand up for herself as well as others. She believes that life is too short to cower below others that think they are better than everyone else, so she doesn't let them.
CURIOUS!
Life in general fascinates Evie and she always finds herself exploring or attempting to gain all sorts of knowledge. Her curiosity has opened many doors for Evie and she has become quite intelligent because of it. She also enjoys meeting new people and learning about them.

History
Evie was born and spent most of her childhood in Portland, Oregon. Her mother and father were both lawyers, hoping to start their own firm. They were a small, middle class family that worked hard to make an income that gave them the luxuries that they desired, but they weren't a very happy family despite acting otherwise. Evie's childhood was filled with everything a child could want, but the only thing that Evie wanted was love and attention from her parents. All she received was neglect.
When Evie was about fourteen, her parents decided that their careers would do better in New York City, so that's where they moved themselves and two children. It was also at the age of fourteen Evie began noticing her gradually developing power (as if puberty wasn't enough). Whenever she was angry or upset, the weather would become gloomy and stormy, even in the middle of summer. At first she thought it to be a coincidence, but when her parents began noticing it too and acting differently towards her (as if she weren't their daughter at all). After becoming aware of the fact that she was special, Evie kept on discovering that she could control her power every now and then if she tried hard enough.
For the next couple of months, Evie's parents went on acting like they had perfect lives, ignoring Evie's "condition". They were distant towards her and gave most of their attention to their "normal" daughter, Brianna. One summers day, Evie's father had caught her practicing her powers in the garden, "Thank god we have one normal child..." he had said to himself, which had made Evie snap. "Normal?! Normal people aren't as selfish and closed minded as you!" She screamed as the clouds drifted in, before a lighting bolt struck her father to the ground.
Her mother ran out to the garden as Evie knelt down next to her father. "Get away from him freak!" She yelled as she pushed Evie out of the way to kneel next to her husband. "Call 911!" her mother ordered. Shocked, by the amount of power that Evie had conjured and by her potentially dead father, Evie ran into the house to do as her mother ordered. The ambulance came and took her father to the hospital. Evie waited to discover her fathers fate. Eventually discovering that her father was alive and in a coma, Evie fled.
After living homeless for a couple of weeks on the streets of New York, Evie was eventually found by others just like her. After that she found her way to Vermont, to a school that accepted her for who she was. She learned to control her power in her teen years, which soon lead her to a teaching position at Hammel Institute.
Roleplay Example
Amelia didn't attack unless she had to. She had learned martial arts over the years in hope of learning how to control her vampire abilities with grace. She had decided many years ago that she needed to teach her body to be built more for defense as the vampires instinct to attack was their downfall most of the time. Which often lead to many vampires being stabbed in the heart with a wooden stake, which ultimately lead to their death. She had learned that there were times where you would have to talk yourself out of a situation rather than use physical force. It was all about smart thinking and holding on to that shred of humanity that she had left.
A small smirk entered Amelia's lips as the human spoke. However, for now she was glad that his back was turned while she set her face straight again. "We all hide..." Amelia began mysteriously as her whole philosophy on life began to kick in. The philosophy that she had developed over the past two hundred and fifty years. "We all come to a place of sanctuary...refuged...to escape the harsh reality of the world..." Amelia paused as she slowly began to rise out of her seat (not wanting to make any sudden movements) and slid out of the pews into the isle of the church. "We think all the time...others are unable to pierce our minds. You came here to hide because you do not want others to see the person you actually are..." There was a moment of silence. "And you're cautious with me because you know what I am...don't you...brave hunter?..."
It was like Amelia was speaking of herself rather than people in general, as her words spoke of her life each and every day. The hunter wasn't to know that. While Amelia spoke words of truth, she was attempting to figure this human out. She needed to understand his motives if she ever wanted to escape the old church tonight. She would escape. It was up to the hunter to decide how she was going to do that. True, her vampire speed could simply take her out the door. However, she was far too intrigued by this human to leave quite yet.
