Zach took the suggestion of his friend Antosha and made sure to bring in something that he could sleep comfortably in. At least comfortably in front of other people. It was simply a pair of the waist tie pjs that he normally wore around the house simply to keep him from exposing his little sisters to some things they weren't ready for....or actually never ready for, because these were his little sisters he was talking about here and that was just awkward. He did the same thing when he stayed at Kai's place. Just bring something to wear around, though...at Kai's place they never stayed on very long, so he supposed that didn't count.
Should he bring alcohol? Ant asked him over to drink, so Zach had to assume that he already had a stock somewhere.
Zach stopped by the grocery store anyway and picked up a six pack. That, along with whatever Ant already had, should be enough for two people. He might have picked up a bag of pretzels. And cookies. Then swung by McDonalds and grabbed a bag of cheap hamburgers and box of nuggets. Shopping cheap, it was amazing how much junk one could actually get.
He could hear Kai in the back of his mind, ranting on his "poor", "unhealthy" choices of food.
Really, Zach needed to stop doing that, thinking about what Kai would think about this or that every other thought.
Zach had followed the directions that Antosha had given him to the house that looked...pretty good for a guy their age. Zach was actually quite impressed how well Ant was doing for himself. He finished school and got a teaching job so quickly. Zach liked seeing his friends succeed like that. It was a small kind of encouragement for the grad student who had returned to living with his parents after several years of living on his own.
Zach parked along the street and stepped out of the car, pulling the bags of goodies from the back seat and continuing up the walk way. He knocked on the door. "Hey," he'd say when the door finally opened.
